Please join us in prayer this week for :
From the Pastor: Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet was a French bishop who died in 1704. A medita!on from him might help us enter deeper in to today's feast of Christ the King:
I adore you, O Jesus, my Lord. . . . You are King. I see you in spirit, si!ng on a throne at God’s right hand. . . . Everything is sub-ject to your rule; all that is subject to God and to the heavenly do-main is subject to your sovereign power: this is your domain. But this dominion is a holy one: it is a priesthood. . . . You celebrate for us an office and an eternal feast at the right hand of the Father. You never cease showing him the scars of the wounds which ap-pease him and save us. You offer him our prayers, you intercede for our sins, you bless us and consecrate us. From heaven on high you bap$ze your children, you change earthly gi%s into your Body and Blood, you remit sins, and send your Holy Spirit, you consecrate your ministers, and count as done by yourself all that they do in your name. When we are born you wash us with a heavenly water, when we die, you support us with a consoling unc$on; and thus our ills are turned into medicine, and our death into a passage to true life. O God, O King, O High Priest, I unite myself to you, I extol you. . . I submit to your divinity, to your rule, to your priesthood. . . . O my King, all your enemies . . . will be subdued, and conquered, and con-strained to kiss your footsteps. . . . Meanwhile, sit upon your throne, O King . . . remain in heaven un$l the day when you will descend, but very quickly return to take your place among all the predes$ned, who will be in$mately united with you; and you will offer God this kingdom, made of those who are saved, that is, of the Head and the members, and God will be everything to them all.
Jesus Christ, our King, have mercy on us and show us the way to our Heavenly home.
With love and Prayers, Fr. Francis

Feast of Christ the King Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church November 26, 2017
Weekly Quote from St. Philip Neri
“Let us concentrate ourselves so completely in the di-
vine love, and enter so far into the living fountain of
wisdom, through the wounded Side of our Incarnate
God, that we may deny ourselves and our self-love, and so be
unable to find our way out of that Wound again.”
Since so many people already pay bills and do their banking on-line, we are pleased to announce that our pa-rishioners now have the convenience of an electronic op!on for making regular offerings!
Contribu!ons can be debited automa!cally from your checking or savings account or processed using your credit or debit card. (MC, Visa or Discover) at no cost to you. This new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much needed dona"on consistency for our parish. You will no longer need to write out weekly checks
or remember envelopes and, when vaca!on, illness or weather prevent you from a'ending Mass, your weekly offerings to con!n-ue on an uninterrupted basis!
Giving online is safe, secure and easy, allowing you to set up automa!c recurring contribu!ons and view your complete online giving history from anywhere you have access to the Internet. Paper authoriza"on forms are also now available at the back of church or in the Parish office. Special, holy day and holiday collec!ons are also included. If you already use envelopes, once you begin dona!ng on-line the record of your contribu!ons will be merged into a single account.
There is a bu$on on our webpage: www.olshtappan.com which will take you directly to on-line giving registra"on page or pick up an authoriza"on form in church.
Depending on whether you choose to donate via bank accounts or credit /debit card, please be prepared with either bank account info or debit/credit card numbers when you log on to the link. It’s a quick process and you always have the ability to change or end your giving this way. Once you register for on-line giving your paper envelopes will be cancelled.
PLEASE BE SURE TO COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE THE FIRST TIME YOU LOG IN!
We strongly urge our parishioners to take advantage of this opportunity!

OLSH supports People to People
With weekly dona!ons, the generous people
of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish are
regular supporters of the food pantry at People to People, our
local source of food for the needy in our community. During the
holiday season the need for non-perishable food is even more
cri!cal.
As you make your own prepara!ons for the holiday ,
please remember our brothers and sisters who struggle daily with
feeding their families and be as generous as you can. Your dona-
!ons can be le% in the large carton at the rear of the church.
Feeding the hungry in our community is a Corporal Work of Mercy
that brings special blessings on all of us. God Bless you for your
generosity.
