Trip to Williamsburg!Travelling to Williamsburg takes place every other year and is enrichment for the 8th grade social studies curriculum. Elms 7th & 8th graders travel to experience Monticello, Jamestown, Mount Vernon, and Williamsburg.
Middle School Convocation!Unique to The Elms! Students teach their audience about a special interest tied to the curriculum. Past examples include Casey at Bat which was a dramatization which com-pared softball and baseball.
Core curriculum is rounded out with choir, dance, art, health, P.E. and technology classes.
Interactive experiences that de-velop critical thinking skills.
Science Fair! After competing in the Elms Women Scientists of Tomorrow Today Science Fair, Elms Middle School girls consistently advance to the District and State Science Fair with excellent and superior results.
Every other year, Elms Middle School students travel to the Challenger Learning Center for hands-on learning and exhilarating simulations in a space shuttle and at mission control!
