SCHEDULES CLERGY SACRAMENTS

The Bread of Forgiveness and Peace

The Risen Christ appears to two of His disciples that He is truly alive.

He then gives them the mission to witness what God has done for His people through His death and resurrection: In the Risen Savior, God reconciles the whole

world to Himself.

We share this mission of the Apostles. Through our confident faith, lively hope, and life-giving love, we witness to people around us, that Jesus is truly alive

and is present in our day-to-day life.

The annual celebration of First Communion is fast approaching! Your prayers and support are appreciated for the children of our parish at this special time in their lives. Please consider celebrating Mass with this year’s class, as a sign of unity and support, on Sunday, April 22 at the 8:30 AM (English) Mass or 1:00 PM (Spanish) Mass. Through Confirmation, our personal relationship with Christ is strengthened. We receive the message of faith in a deeper, more intense manner with emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service. The Sacrament of Confirmation services at Our Lady of Mercy will be held at 2 PM on May 19, 2018. Join us!

Catholics Returning Home. Do you know someone who has left the Catholic church? We are offering a simple six-week program to bring them back into the life of the Church and her sacraments. Please pray that young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord's call to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, societies of

apostolic life or secular institutes. Members of our local St. Vincent de Paul conference will be selling Hawaii Vacation Raffle Tickets for $10.00 each after the Masses today. The raffle will take place on April 27th at the St. Vincent de Paul Council in Sacramento. All

proceeds support Society of St. Vincent de Paul charities. The winner does not need to be present to win.
