19. SHOW HORSE The ridden Showhorse class is judged 1/3 on presentation, 1/3 on conformation/type and 1/3 on movement. Judged on the ring.

20. SPORTHORSE CLASSES: reward the conformation and athleticism of the horse. Arabian "type" as such is not a consideration.

Halter - Each horse comes before the Judge and stands naturally, without being posed, for inspection. The Judge will also ask for the horse to be walked and trotted out. Each horse is scored according to the Sport Horse scoring sheet. There are no official requirements for horse's head gear or handler attire. English snaffle as well as stock horse bridles are acceptable, as well as show halters. Handlers may wear stock gear, riding gear, or smart casual attire with covered shoes. Horses should be presented neat and clean with minimal or no makeup. Plaited manes or free manes are equally acceptable. Saddle (where classes are provided) - horses are judged on conformation and athleticism. Arabian "type" is not a consideration. Horses in the class are judged comparatively at walk, trot and canter. Lengthened paces are not required, but may be asked for at the Judge's discretion. Horses may work with a more natural head carriage, but still must demonstrate balance and rhythm in all paces. Horses and riders need just to present themselves neat and clean. Plaited manes or free flowing manes are equally acceptable. Horse's make up should be minimal, if applied at all. Horses and riders may wear English gear, or stock gear. Sport horse classes are NOT judged as hack classes.

May be marked using a scoresheet, at discretion of judge.

21. ARABIAN PERFORMANCE INDEX: Arabian Performance Index recorded horses and ponies with AHSA, are eligible to compete in any class not specified for any particular Arabian Derivative registry. They are not eligible to compete in classes listed as being restricted to Purebred Arabians, Half Arabians, Partbred Arabians, Arabian Ponies, Arabian Riding Ponies, Anglo Arabians, Arabian Warmbloods, Arabian Stock Horses or Quarabs. They may be used in Junior Handler classes, Lead Line etc.

22. HALF ARABIAN CLASSES: are for those registered in the Half Arabian registry of the AHSA. Half Arabians competing in Half Arabian classes will be judged on Arabian Type as well as conformation and movement.

23. HIGH PERCENTAGE ARABIAN DERIVATIVES must be a minimum of 50% to compete in this class. 24. WAAHA FREESTYLE CUP: is a saddle class open to all horses 4 years and over.

The class will combine purebreds and derivatives, unless entries of at least six in each section are attained, in which case it will be split into a purebred as well as a derivative class. Competitors will ride a minimum of 2 minutes, to maximum of 3 minute workout of their own choice, to music of their own choice, containing the following compulsory movements;

a) Walk, b) Trot, c) Canter on left rein and right rein, d) Halt in front of Judges Any other movements are optional. This is NOT a traditional hack class and will not be judged as such. Composition and flow of workout (any other movements included) 8. Suitability of workout to dress 9. Suitability of workout to music 10. Overall impression, harmony of combination.
