OUR HISTORY AND TODAYHassani Group’s �rst commercial activity in the UAE can be traced back to 1912 when Mr. Baba Hassan Hassani founded a small convenience store to supply basic amenities to a scarcely populated Dubai. Our group pioneered the supermarket concept in UAE and in the early 1950’s Mr. Mohammed Hassani established Hassani Trading Company (HTC), which laid the foundation for what is known today as Hassani Group Of Compa-nies (HGC), a fully diversi�ed group with over 35 di�erent subsidiaries employing over 5,000 people in various countries around the globe.

HGC has been achieving a constant double growth across subsidiary companies since the inception of operations. The Hassani Group is

committed to supporting its growth with constant investments into its activi-ties to sustain a manageable growth. Such commitment is demonstrated in the group’s latest industrial complex built in Dubai Investment Park (DIP).The complex houses 18 vertically integrated trading and manufacturing activities under one single location, one of the largest one-stop facilities in the UAE. DIP occupies approximately 2,150,000 square feet of covered area giving the group su�cient possibility for further growth across the Middle East region and the globe. With locations mainly in Dubai & Sharjah, UAE, Hassani Real Estate currently consists of over 5,000 �ats, 167 shops, 22 villas, 115 warehouses, 3 hotels, 4 labor camps and many other lands and plots being developed primarily in the Middle East region.

The most recent venture of HGC is Modo Gulf Trading and Modo Interna-tional General Trading. These companies are dedicated to providing LED lighting solutions for outdoor and indoor and industrial and domestic requirements. HGC sees a strong future for LED, speci�cally with the constant increase in technology, energy savings, environmental bene�ts and higher e�ciency. HGC deals only with Original Equipment Manufactur-ers (OEM) for all of its LED products. We are the agents of Foxconn, the largest electronic contract manufacturer in the world and a pioneer in the LED industry using the best technology in chips, re�ectors, heat sinks & design.


The Hassani Group has managed to create fully integrated manufacturing facilities related to its food processing and packing activities. To take advantage of the new economic cooperation among countries within the region and rising operating costs in the western world, in 1984 the Hassani Group entered into the light food manufacturing industry by creating a snack processing and packaging plant called Hassani Food Industries (HFI). Since then, manufacturing has become the prime empha-sis for the group and we are involved in a handful of manufacturing activi-ties in several countries and various industries such as food products, can-making, paper/board based packaging, furniture, textiles and many others. Products produced by the group can be seen in over 60 countries around the world.


FOOD MANUFACTURINGManufacturing is our driving force and we are leaders in providing food solutions to best suit an individual country’s needs. HASSANI BABY FOOD & MILKPOWDER PRODUCTION FACTORYHBF&MP is engaged in the packaging of milk powder and the production of baby cereals using some of the most sophisticated and fully automated machinery in the industry. The company has entered into joint ventures with multinationals to produce and to pack various products for the Middle East & African markets. One of the most attractive features of this company

is its ability to pack in a variety of di�erent packaging such as metal cans, aluminum sachets and bag in the box. We are rated as one of the largest packers of milk powder in the region. Under our signa-ture brands Melody & Safa we achieved market leadership in many countries.


CROWN FOOD INDUSTRYCFI produces a variety of di�erent processed food products such as tomato paste, ketchup, hot sauce, vinegar, mayonnaise, dressings and more. CFI products continuously receive great reviews by our consumers and has achieved a respectable market share in the region.

The company has extended its product range in the same category as its global distribution channels become stronger with market opportunities.


CROWN DAIRY INDUSTRYCDI currently manufactures various di�erent dairy products such as liquid sterilized cream, evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk in a variety of types of packaging such as metal cans and Tetrapack asep-tic brick packaging. Products of this company sell under the Melody & Donia brands that compete with international brands in the local and foreign markets.

The company has now expanded its product range in this sector and is still growing steady. Lately, CDI has invested in fresh dairy products such as fresh laban drink, �avored & pasteurized milk, cheese, yogurt & juices all in many types of packaging such as tin can, gable top and plastic packaging.


PASTALINI FOOD PROCESSING LLCEstablished in 1995, Pastalini is a fully automated pasta manufacturing plant for macaroni on a turnkey basis by renowned �rms worldwide who are pioneers in developing automated lines for pasta. AlKhaleejia launched in March 1995, was the �rst brand of Pastalini and was able to command a substantial market share in the UAE. In an endeavor to cater to the unique requirements of di�erent market segments, Pasta-lini has introduced di�erent brands in various packaging operations.

Pastalini had successfully completed the commissioning of its new long cut pasta line in 1998. This plant was one of the three most sophisti-

cated plants of its kind in the world at that time. The spaghetti it produces is available in a wide range of shapes and brands. In addition, Pastalini added one more line to its existing plant in 2003 to produce special shapes like lasagna, canelloni, nest, etc.

With a large and existing range of food products, Pastalini remains committed to manufacture and market quality pasta food products glob-ally. Today Pastalini is one of the leading manufacturers of pasta prod-ucts in the Gulf.


DUBAI JUICE & JAM FACTORYDubai Juice & Jam Factory is the group’s first foreign investment in Africa and produces a variety of products under the Prince brand. The factory is divided into dry powder products such as instant drink and milk powder and wet products like tomato paste.

The company has plans to extend its manufacturing know-how to other areas of food production and to expand its production facilities.


ETHIO TAKAMOULEthio Takamoul is a joint venture between Hassani Group of Companies and a group of local investors to manufacture food products and packaging for the local market and to export into the neighboring East African countries. Phase One of the project

involved developing the processing and packing of juices and ketchup by importing concentrates. Phase Two of the project is now underway with the goal to further develop the local Ethio-pian farmers to grow some of the concentrates locally.


TAKAMOUL AFRIQUE SENEGALTakamoul Afrique Senegal (TAS) is a joint venture between the Hassani Group of Companies and a group of local food distributors to manufacture food products and packaging for the local market and to export into neighboring West African countries. Benefitting from the ECOWAS agreement, TAS exports a substantial percent-age of its products to neighboring countries, mostly under the Podor brand. Takamoul Afrique is located in the Dakar Industrial Zone covering an area of 100,000 square feet. It was established in

2011 and we have been successful in gaining a substantial market share from our competitors and reducing the dependency on imported products. TAS processes fresh tomato, directly helping the local farmers and promoting the local economy. In this venture, Hassani Group of Companies has been able to transfer technology not only in packing the material but also working alongside with local Senegalese farmers to improve the yield per area of land and the quality of the product.


DASHTE ERAMDashte Eram is an aagro-manufacturing company involved in the processing of jams, pickles, tomato paste and canned vegetables mostly for the Middle East region.

The company provides many different packaging options depending on product and market destination.


ROJIN TAAK AAGRO INDUSTRIESRojin Taak Aagro Industries is the biggest tomato paste processing factory in the Middle East with a production capacity of 2,800 metric tons of raw tomato every day during the harvest period. It produces cold brix and semi-hot brix tomato paste up to 36-38 concentrate and

markets the products both in industrial size of 250kg aseptic �lling drums as well as consumer packs of smaller sizes. Rojin Taak also has its own tomato cultivation land that provides 40% of its requirement for raw material.

CROWN CANS INDUSTRYEstablished in 1998, we are the first fully automatic commer-cial metal container manufacturing factory for the processed food industry in the UAE. We setup to fulfill the Hassani Group of Companies growing need for packing in metal containers.

Today we run fully automated state of the art equipment consisting of 2 coil cutting lines, 11 body can production lines that are supported by 12 press lines. The press lines produce a variety of closures including easy open ends. In addition, we have

2 double color printing and coating, a double color UV printing and coating and three independent coating lines, apart from various other equipments that assist in the can making process.

We serve more than 150 customers in countries around the world. Apart from food containers, we also produce general line cans, plain and printed sheets and components serving the paint, lubricant and motor oil industries in various sizes and shapes.


GULF PRINTING & PUBLISHING LLCEstablished in 1996, GPP has been working with renowned FMCG companies providing quality products & services with a �rm focus on folding box board cartons & label jobs.

GPP currently serves over 50 clients in more than 12 countries on a regular basis. Our client list comes from a variety of industries such as food, tobacco, tissue, cosmetic, perfume, soap, detergent, pharmaceu-tical, confectionary, biscuits, chocolates and other FMCG products. Our plant adheres to the strictest environmental, safety & hygiene stand-ards. These policies supplement our commitment to quality control at all

times. GPP has been successfully audited & approved by our clients.

GPP is currently an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) member with the intention to not only help to reduce deforestation and forest prod-ucts, but also to recognize the growing demand for environmental friendly packaging products across the GCC and the world.

TECHNOMAN PLASTIC FACTORYPlastic packaging is today one of the most widely used packaging materials in almost all industries both food & non-food. TMP is equipped with various machinery for producing plastic containers using one-step injection and blow molding machinery as well as stand-alone blow molding and injection molding machines. Furthermore, TMP is supported by Technoman Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, a member of Hassani Group of Companies and a state of the art workshop and R&D center for producing molds & dies for all kinds of container shapes. TMI has the technical know-how for design-ing thin wall as well as normal wall thickness molds. This support

enables TMP to maintain a constant quality and to achieve high stand-ards for all of its products. TMP serves all industries where there is a requirement for plastic containers & plastic parts. However, its major focus has remained in food, lubricant, cleaning/detergent, chemical & cosmetic indus-tries with currently over 60 customers.
