For all parties dining in our Atrium we offer our shared group menus. Seasonal dishes selected from our kitchen served in a sharing style. There are three options to choose from:

Canapés

For larger groups of 30 and above we offer a variety of freshly made canapés to choose from. Our “small” canapes are handed around by our friendly team whilst the “substantial” options are placed on a station for you to help yourself.

Starts at $35pp which includes your choice of 3 small and 1 substantial canapé. You may then add any small canapé at $6pp or any substantial canapé at $12pp

You are welcome to put a set amount behind the bar and select any beverages you want to be available to your group. We will keep you informed over the event so you can monitor the limit accordingly. The flexibility is yours!

Stone’s Throw has 5 spaces available for private hire,so we can cater to a variety of occasions. We do not charge room hire fees, however there are minimumspend requirements.

Maximum capacity 45 peopleMinimum spend $500

A semi private room at the front of the venue. Situated near the front bar and with a small courtyard attached. This area is perfect for a casual gathering or cocktail event in a private space.

Mail Room

Maximum capacity 80 peopleMinimum spend $3,000

An open space at the rear of the venue, protected by a large tree and hedges. Fitted with garden furniture and festoon lighting this space is perfect for larger cocktail parties. During winter, there are heaters and a chimenea that provide warmth and atmosphere.

The Courtyard

Maximum capacity 80 peopleMinimum spend $7,000

The Atrium is our main dining area, situated adjacent to the courtyard this space is swimming with natural light and adorned with an array of indoor plants. Beautiful white marble tables with black stands makes for a classic décor that sets a timeless canvas for your event. The atrium is best for sit down meals but can still be an elegant setting for a cocktail party.

We can open up the atrium onto the courtyard creating an enticinggarden feel making the most of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Together the space can host up to 160 people cocktail style or 100 people for a sit-down meal.

If you would like the whole venue to yourself, everything from the cocktail bar, restaurant and rear courtyard will be yours to use. Packages can be made bespoke for your special occasion. Please contact us with your ideas and we can tailor Stone’s Throw to your event. You will be able to meet with Chef Quentin Whittle to discuss your menu options.

F.A.Q’s

You are welcome to bring your own cake. We charge a cakeage fee of $35 that includes the cake being cut and served on platters. If you would like the cake to be individually plated there is a charge of $3.50 per person, that will include the chefs plating and garnishing your cake.

We can also arrange a cake for you. Our preferred supplier is Abbotts and Kinney Bakery, where we can arrange a cake upon request.

Can I bring my own Cake or do you supply them?

If you have a special bottle that you have been saving for your celebration, please feel free to bring it in. There is a corkage fee of $20 per bottle. However please be aware we do not accept BYO beverages for your event.

Can I bring my own wine?

If you cancel with more than 5 weeks’ notice then yes, we will refund youin full. If not then we will be unable to refund the deposit.

Something has changed and I need to cancel my function, can I get a refund?

That’s fine, so long as all your decisions are made with us no later than10 days prior to your function. We will require this notice to place ourorders with our suppliers. With less notice, we may not be able to deliveron your selections.

I want to book a date but haven’t decided on my catering yet, as I am not sure how many people will come?

We aim to cater for all dietary requirements from allergies to vegans. Depending on the package you select we will either provide alternate items for you or offer some options to order separately. We ask that all dietary requirements are submitted when finalising your catering. Failure to do so may limit the options available and delay service on the day.

I have a dietary requirement, do I have to share?

Yes, they can! Children will not be charged the same as the adults and can order on the day. We have a fluid kid’s menu that will usually contain items like Fish and Chips, Plain Gnocchi and Toasted sandwiches. The menu does change so speak to our friendly team when booking and they can confirm those options with you.

Can the Kids come?

Absolutely. Once the room is booked privately you are welcome to decorate as you see fit. All we ask is that you do not use any thing that will mark or damage the surroundings and we do not accept glitter or confetti (this includes balloons with confetti inside). All candles need to be in a holder.

Can I decorate the room my way?

Yes please. We do not take tentative bookings at Stones Throw, so whenyou are ready to book we will require you to pay a deposit. This can be done over the phone, in person or via an invoice. For each space, there isa different amount:
