“Sitting is the New Smoking” It’s time to get up, get moving and help our bodies function better!
This challenge is designed to make us aware of the time we spend in
our chairs and encourage us to breathe, stretch and move throughout
the day to feel more energized and to increase our productivity and
happiness. Take the challenge to Defeat the Seat this March!
(As with any new health habit, if you’re unsure about getting started, check with your healthcare provider first.)
If you have access to the portal –this form is optional to help you keep track as you go & transfer to the portal weekly.
Login to www.assethealth.com/bewelluc to register (homepage) and to track your activities (tab at top)
Earn one point each time you take a moment to breathe, stretch and move.
You can only log activity for up to 1 week after it occurred (don’t wait until the end!).

If you don’t have access to the portal – that’s ok! If you would like to be entered into the drawing, please submit
your form via email to [email protected] or mail to Ashley Varol/ML0039 by April 7, 2017.
Getting Registered:
Registration is open Feb 20-Mar 10.
Login to the Asset Health portal:
www.assethealth.com/bewelluc
Click “Defeat the Seat Challenge: Register Now”
on the homescreen.
Participate as an Individual:
Select Register Now from the Individual Tile to
participate on your own.
When you click on register now or the challenge
tab, you’ll see “You are Registered as an
Individual” until the challenge begins and
reporting is open.
Participate on a Team:
Select “I Need a Team” if you want to be added to one.
If you are the Team Captain, select “Create A Team.”
Enter a team name and click Create Team.
When you click on register or the challenge tab,
you’ll see you have registered and created a team with
your team information available.

Build Your Team:
If you enter emails of
colleagues you wish to
join your team in the
open textbox labeled
“Want to Invite a New
Member” on your
registration page, an
auto-generated email
with directions will be
sent (see left).
You can also share the
team name with your
colleagues who can
use the “Search Team”
function when
registering.
Defeat the Seat – Reporting & Tracking
At any time throughout the challenge, login to the
Defeat the Seat Challenge page at
www.assethealth.com/bewelluc.
Click on “Challenge” at the top of the page to get to
the Defeat the Seat reporting page.
You’ll see tabs to report your points, view the
leaderboard, view your team as well as review the
challenge guidelines and resources.
o When you click on “My Team” you’ll see those
who have joined and their progress so you
can help motivate them to keep going!
Your progress toward earning 40 points is at the top
of the page, titled “Grand Total.”

Reporting Activities “Day-Of”:
If you want to report activities on the
day they happened, simply login to the
portal (www.assethealth.com/bewelluc)
and click on the round buttons:
o Breathing Exercises
o Stretch
o Move
When you click on the button, you’ll see
it change colors, and it report on the
weekly table (as seen below).

working movement, breathing exercises and stretching into your day.
Reporting Activities Throughout the Week:
You can report activities up to 1 week after they have
occurred, including after the challenge completes
(through April 7, 2017) and you can see your activities
completed through April 14, 2017.
Login to the portal (www.assethealth.com/bewelluc)
and click Challenge at the top. When you scroll down,
you’ll see each week of the challenge with a table
associated.
When you click activities you’ve completed within the
past week, the space will highlight. When done, click
the submit button. You’ll see those activity points
populate the Grand Total at the top of the page.
Helpful/time-saving tip: Use the Defeat the Seat
tracking sheet as a way to jot down your progress
throughout the week and set a reminder on Friday
afternoon to enter your activities!
