entrance, and complete window replacement.

Interior renovations included fit-out of typical

office space, conference rooms, and a full

service fitness and exercise facility with men’s

Association

Nason Construction has been working with

Sallie Mae since 2008 on a series of multiple

projects, such as:

Corporate Headquarters Fit-Out, Phases 1-7

In January 2011, Nason began a $10 million, 17

month fit-out of 150,000 sf; completed in seven

phases, in an occupied building.

Exterior Façade Renovation

In 2011, the award winning, $7.3 million

Exterior Façade renovation commenced. The

new, large windows not only make the

building look inviting, but add an increase in

natural light for guests and employees.

Landscaping & Pond Renovations

In Spring 2013, Nason began the renovation of

Sallie Mae’s employee common space, creating

a new outdoor seating and dining area

adjacent to their new cafeteria, and a serene

pond with surrounding boardwalk for

employees to enjoy.

Other projects include:

Executive Office Suite renovations

Reconfigure Open Floor Work Spaces

Lobby renovations

Cafeteria renovation & expansion

Fitness Center renovation

Elevator modernization

Board Room & Conference Rooms

Stair Tower renovations

Parking Lot expansions

Bathroom upgrades

Mailroom renovations

Credit Operations Center Office fit-out

and renovation

“We are extremely happy with our totally

renovated space and it has made a huge

difference in our service to our customers.”

- Paul Smith, Director of Facilities

Page 14: OttosBMW_Qualifications

Nason Construction provided general

contracting services for a 94,000 square foot

warehouse expansion for Bodek and Rhodes

at their corporate headquarters in Northeast

Philadelphia. Bodek and Rhodes is an active

wear clothing wholesaler with five

warehouses nationwide.

This $8.4 million project consists of the

addition of a pre-engineered building with

10-foot-high masonry walls.

Page 15: OttosBMW_Qualifications
Page 16: OttosBMW_Qualifications

Nason Construction provided construction management services for this new 132,000 square

foot corporate office and distribution facility. The facility includes cooler and freezer areas as

well as ambient storage and 12,400 square feet of office space.

The building is constructed with concrete tilt-up exterior wall panels to satisfy both budget and

scheduling restraints. The use of tilt-up enabled the entrance facade of the office area to be

curved, highlighting the building’s entrance and providing a counterpoint to the rectangular

mass of the building. Forms were used to provide a “dished” surface upon which to pour the

curved panels.

The refrigerated warehouse is used for storage of Dunkin’ Donuts dough that is distributed from

22 truck docks to regional retail stores.

Page 17: OttosBMW_Qualifications

Nason Construction is currently working on

our fifth project with Campbell Soup

Company at their World Headquarters in

Camden, NJ. Our relationship spans a

program of multiple projects. Highlighted

below are some of those projects.

World Headquarters Renovation,

Phases 1 & 2

Nason Construction originally provided

general contracting services for the first two

phases of the World Headquarters renovation.

Completed in February 2011, the first phase

included the installation of all IT equipment.

The second phase, completed in June 2012,

involved the complete renovation of 68,000 sf

of administrative space at the Headquarters’

main building.

The retrofit included selective demolition and

interior fit-out with high-end corporate office

finishes and extensive mechanical and

electrical upgrades. The building remained

fully occupied during the renovation.

World Headquarters, Building 70

Renovations

Nason provided general contracting services

for Campbell Soup’s Building 70 interior

renovations, which was the first venture

between Campbell’s and Nason. The scope of

the project included demolition of a portion of

the existing Day Care and build-out of new

space and meeting rooms, as well as a new

HVAC system and skylight installations. Work

was completed during the night shift hours to

allow the Day Care and office operations to

continue without interruption.

The Nason construction team successfully

coordinated construction activities within the

occupied building and with the furniture

assembly crews to allow on-time move-in to

the renovated space.

Page 18: OttosBMW_Qualifications

Nason Construction was selected to provide

general construction services for a $1.4 million

addition and renovation to the existing Boeing

Helicopters Credit Union facility.

The addition will entail construction of a

high-tech facade to complement the style of

the larger Boeing facility. Upgrades to the

existing building and entryway facade will be

performed to match the addition.

Due to its proximity to the Delaware River, the

complex foundation for the addition consists

of 45-foot-deep wood piles, with concrete

grade beams and a structural concrete floor

slab.

Thoughtful scheduling and phasing

coordination by the Nason team will ensure

this bank facility remains operational six days

a week throughout construction.

Page 19: OttosBMW_Qualifications

Excellence in Construction, ABC Eastern

Shore

Nason Construction was selected as the

Construction Manager for a new $7.6 million

two-story, 23,000 square foot oncology center

and a post-tension parking garage which was

completed in phases to better accommodate

hospital staff and patients.

Working closely with The SmithGroup,

preconstruction services included identifying

value engineering alternatives, conducting

constructability analysis, and developing cost

budgets and project schedules.

The steel-framed and brick veneer facility

features a reflective glass curtain wall radius

along the west side offering spectacular views

of the Nanticoke River and

high-end finishes throughout the physician

offices. The facility accommodates cancer

treatment areas and a linear accelerator which

consists of one foot thick concrete walls and

floor slab to ensure radiation containment.

Project challenges included constructing the

facility only 20 feet from the banks of the river

and directly in front of an existing professional

building, as well as extensive weather delays

with record-breaking rainfall throughout the

construction of this project.

Despite the challenges, the project was

delivered $592,000 under budget.
