N.O.W.: National Organization for Women (1966)

This group pushed for equal pay in the workplace, opportunities for advancement, and equal representation in politics

Hispanic-Americans were looked down upon and were denied equality in employment and education.

Most Latinos worked as migrants or as underpaid farm workers
