Christmas Morning Night-mare

By Alexis HeathIt was early Christmas

morning. Rosy and Kinsey awoke from their beds and ran downstairs to the Christ-mas tree. They looked under the tree to find no presents had been left. Kinsey began shouting out to her parents that were still snuggled in their bed. “THERE ARE NO PRESENTS!!” Kinsey and Rosy’s parents came running downstairs.

“Well then off to the North Pole we go to see what’s go-ing on,” shouted father. And the adventures began.

Before they left Kinsey didn’t know what the North Pole even was. When they got there she remembered seeing the pictures. They walked in to discover that the elves were asleep and didn’t remember when Christmas was. Also all the toys were broken. The fam-ily was working on the pres-ents when the shop started shaking. It was Santa and his reindeer.

He walked in and said, “Well, your family sure is on the good list for next year.Rosy asked why the toys were broken and the elves were asleep. It turns out that a bad guy had done all of it. Santa had already caught him and had been done with the other houses. The only one he had left was theirs. So Santa took the family home on his sleigh, and they had a happy Christmas Day after all!

Santa the Kidnapper By Braeden Barr 5DAll was quiet until Santa

came down with a thump. He passed the Christmas tree, crept up the stairs, went into Little Karla Brinst’s room, and shoved her into his bag. Then he flew up the chimney and sleighed back to the North Pole. He left a note that read:If you want to see little Karla

again leave $20,000 behind the steak house or else!!!!!!

At the North Pole Santa was thinking one thing: I will be rich!!!!!!!! But of course Mrs. Claus was furious. She came up with a plan.

Back at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Brinst the po-lice saw Santa’s fingerprints all over the note. (Literally, he had just eaten Cheetos before going into the house. What a dope.) The hunt for Santa was on.

Meanwhile Mrs. Claus prepared to carry out her plan. She was ready it was 8:30 A.M. She sprinted out the door with the supplies she took from the house, leaving a note that read, “ Bye-bye Bad Santa. P.S Thanks for the supplies!”

When Santa woke up at 1:30P.M., boy was he mad! ALL of the snacks were gone. ALL of them! Even his thermos full of hot-chocolate was gone.

Meanwhile little Karla was on a $20,000,000 cruise with Mrs. Claus to her home in Jamestown, Virginia.

When she got there she was reunited with her par-ents while Santa was being arrested for the kidnapping.

Remember, only trust someone that you know by heart because even Santa might become evil.

THE ENDOr is it.

Elf on the Mission By Brianna Parmer 5DYou all know the sto-

ry of the Elf on the Shelf. Well here is a twist on the Elf on the Shelf. The Elf on the Shelf for this story is called Boomerang. He actually works for the S.S.S. The S.S.S. stands for Santa’s Secret Service. Well that’s the thing your Elf on the Shelf is a good guy. In fact he is a great guy. He rides Rudolph to the North Pole delivering information. The S.S.S is a very important service without S.S.S Christ-

mas would be ruined. Why you ask, because how would Santa know if you have been good or bad. So let’s get to the good part.

——————“Hey, Santa!!” yelled

Boomerang. “I’m finally home!!!”

“How was your trip?” San-ta asked.

“Good!” Boomerang bab-bled.

“How were your kids?” Santa wondered.

“Well Mathew was being very nice. He made some cookies to give to you!”

“They’re green,” Santa mumbled in concern.

“I don’t know why?” Boo-merang said weirdly.

Santa bravely ate one. “These are the best thing ever, besides Christmas!” Santa exclaimed.

“I will have Mathew make more,” Boomerang smiled.

“YOU CAN’T!!!” Santa yelled loudly. “It’s against my rules.”

“Oh pooh, “ Boomerang cried.

“I will send you a note to give to him,” Santa com-manded.

——————Boomerang went back to

Mathew’s house with Santa’s note saying:

Dear Mathew,This is Santa, I would like

some more of those green cookies!

Love, Santa!Boomerang left the note

where Mathew could see it. Then boomerang found this note on Mathew’s dresser:

Santa’s green cookies1) fat potion 2)sugar 3)

flour 4) pink food dyeYou can make your own

now, Santa.Love,Mathew

——————Boomerang took the note,

flew back to the North Pole and gave the note to Santa. “I don’t think I want any more of those green cook-ies. I’m too fat already. I’m

hungry though.” Santa com-plained.

So when Santa went to sleep Boomerang got on Ru-dolph and rode to Subway instead of Mathew’s house. He got 30 subway sandwich-es. They flew back to Santa. Santa ate one with a scared face. Then the elf thought, “He isn’t going to like them.” Then all of a sudden........

“I LOVE THIS! IT’S THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE SANTA YEARS!!!!!

“Better than those green cookies?” asked Boomer-ang.

“YES! You’re a great Elf on the Shelf, Boomerang!” exclaimed Santa.

Boomerang was proud of himself for completing his mission to have a healthier and happy Santa.

Christmas Wreck By Chailyn Beydler

“Come on Donner,” begged Rudolph.

“Oh fine, but only one race. Ok?” allowed Donner.

“Ok! Ready, set, go!” shouted Rudolph. Rudolph and Donner darted towards the toy shop in the North Pole on slippery ice. “Aaah! I’m slipping, I’m losing my balance!” shouted Rudolph. Rudolph fell still sliding on the ice as fast as a bul-let straight towards the toy shop where Santa Claus was talking to one of his elves named Vix. “Watch out San-ta!” screamed Rudolph. Ca plump! Santa and Vix top-pled into a pile of snow with Rudolph on top.

“Ow!”growled Vix. “That hurt my leg.”

“I’m so sorry. I-I didn’t mean to,” cried Rudolph.

“Santa are you ok?” asked Vix.

“Yes I’m fine, but Ru-dolph you have got to stop racing everywhere,” said

Santa laughing in joy.(In toy shop)Rudolph’s nose was shin-

ing bright while carefully strolling through the maker area where elves were work-ing on toys, and penguins were decorating presents. Finally, Rudolph entered Santa’s office. He saw San-ta crying and looking at his ginormous magic world ball where little lights went out in a town called Wonderson. When the little lights are glowing that means kids are still believing in Santa and when the lights go out that means kids have stopped be-lieving in Santa. So when the lights go out there’s a big sit-uation going on and we need to fix it fast before more lights go out.

“I-I don’t understand why children have stopped be-lieving in me,” Santa said still crying.

“Vix, get the sleigh ready because you and Rudolph

are going to Wonderson,” snapped Santa getting a coat for Vix.

“Woo hoo!” shouted Vix. “I haven’t been on Santa’s sleigh in like... Forever!”

“The good thing is your lighter than Santa,” Rudolph replied. In a flash they ar-rived in Wonderson.

“Ok,” said Vix, “let’s start looking for that Christmas spirit thief that stopped kids from believing in Santa!”

“Are we going to walk?” asked Rudolph.

“Of course not, we’re go-ing to ride in the sleigh,” said Vix looking at the sleigh which wasn’t a sleigh any-more it was a red car with a sun roof at the top. Rudolph jumped behind the wheel and raced through the town.

“Hey who’s that guy over there talking to the children at the door?” asked Rudolph slamming on the brakes.

“Oh my gosh!” exclaimed Vix.

“What?” Rudolph asked in confusion.

“You spotted the thief,” stated Vix. “Now we can take him back to Santa.”

When Rudolph, Vix and the Christmas spirit thief got back to the North Pole, Santa was shocked by how quickly they had captured him. Santa put the thief in a class to learn a lesson about the spirit of Christmas. After the class Santa sprinkled him with dust so he wouldn’t re-member anything other than his lesson and sent him back to Wonderson. Santa gave Vix and Rudolph a treat, and he never complained about Rudolph’s racing again!

Snow Day By Cody Robb 5DOn the day of my birth-

day I got a new car. I had to go get groceries. Then I got in a crash because it was snowing. I was on the high-way from Lowell, my town. My name is Bob. I was in bad pain. I had to go to the hospital. They told me that

I’d broken my arm. I was in the hospital for a week. I survived. By the time I left the hospital it was snowing again, and it was Christmas Day! I got a truck that day! My mom was very sad that the crash happened, so she had bought me a truck. But I was okay. I’m 18 years old.

A few years later I had two kids. Their names were Troy and Less. It was a snowy Christmas again my kids were happy. They said, “Hey, dad, this is awesome!” I got a jet that Christmas.

Rudolph By Christopher Showers

5D“Rudolph you’re crazy!”

yells one of the elves. Ru-dolph is zooming all over the place super fast.

“Watch him,” exclaims one elf to another. “He is there! Then he’s there, there, there, there. He is flying at lightning speed.”

Suddenly, Rudolph hits Santa’s room. Santa wakes up and says, “Stop! Rudolph you are not leading the sleigh tomorrow with this kind of behavior.”

“Ok,” says Rudolph sadly as he starts trudging home.

His friend Frosty sees him and says,”You wanna go play?”

“No, I gotta have better behavior,” explains Ru-dolph.

“Okay, bye,” replies Frosty.

Rudolph ran inside be-cause it’s cold here in the North Pole. Rudolph’s mom says, “So how was work to-day buddy?”

“I don’t get to lead the sleigh tomorrow night be-cause I was not behaving.”

“That’s too bad buddy. I’m making your favorite dinner. We will talk about your day while we eat.”

——————The next day Rudolph

goes to work. He goes to Santa’s room and sees the mess he made. He gets

busy cleaning it up. Just as he is finishing Santa comes in the room. He has a sur-prised look on his face. Ru-dolph apologizes, “I’m sorry about everything.” Santa looks at Rudolph with jolly eyes and says, “Ru-dolph, I am proud of you!! You can pull my sleigh to-night! Ho! Ho! Ho!”

The Awesome Christmas By Diego CavanzonIt was a really beautiful

cold fall day, when my broth-er, sister and I woke up. We always liked the cold. We were excited about winter and Christmas coming. We love gifts. My family liked to be with my grandma and grandpa during holidays, but especially at Christmas.

Finally, Christmas was just a week away. Lina, Mar-co and I were so happy for Christmas. It was snowing outside. When Lina saw the snow, she asked mom why Santa hadn’t come yet.

Marco and I went to play outside because we want-ed to make a snowman. First we made a big round ball, rolling and rolling it in the snow until it was huge. We made two more big snowballs and tried to put them on top of each other. Then Marco went inside to ask her mom if she has some stuff to put on the snowman, and mom said yes. So Joe and Marco put the stuff on the snowman, and Joe was running around the snow-man. In a few minutes he threw up.

Then Marco was asking Joe if he was alright. Joe told him no. Marco took Joe home and yelled to mom that Joe was sick. Mom came and took Joe to the hospital. The doctor told mom that Joe was alright and that he shouldn’t play when he has just eaten. Joe had to stay in the house with Marco play-ing the rest of the day.

Lina was having an idea, and she was thinking about

a cookie pie. She asked her brothers if they wanted to make the cookie pie. They said yes. Then Lina went to ask her grandma if she could get the recipe, and her grand-ma told her yes. They made it, and it was delicious. They ate the whole cookie pie.

Sometime later Joe was getting sick. He was throw-ing up again and his mom took him to the hospital. Lat-er the doctor told mom that Joe would have to stay in the hospital for one week. Mom said thank you to the doctor. She asked if he would be al-right.

“Yes,” the doctor said. The week passed and Joe was ok. His mom came to pick him up from the hospi-tal on Christmas day. Joe was excited to be home opening the gifts, and the whole fam-ily was so happy. “Happy Christmas everybody,” Joe said.

Who Kidnapped the Elf By David Chen 5DWhen it was almost Christ-

mas Eve, an elf got taken from the bathroom at San-ta’s house. Mrs.Claus found the suit and screamed out loud, “Somebody kidnapped Johnny.” They called the po-lice officer at the North Pole named Bob. He came to in-vestigate.

After that Mrs.Claus start-ed crying. Rudolph was also crying and the other elves. They tried to figure out who kidnapped the elf. But one elf went to the bathroom and saw snow footprints outside.

They were small ones.Santa was sad and tried to

figure out who kidnapped the elf. “How would some-body come in the window when it was locked?” he wondered. “I think someone unlocked it.”

“Who left the house?” Santa asked everyone. No-body answered. Santa con-tinued,

“Whoever left the house is too nervous to tell me. Hm-mmm. You know whoever kidnapped the elf will not be going to Coney Island in New York next summer.”

“Santa is so worried about Johnny,” said one elf.

Suddenly Santa noticed the James’s shoes. They were tiny and covered in snow. “He was the one who left the house,” exclaimed Santa. “Nobody is kidnapping any of my elves in the North Pole. It was you, wasn’t it Mr.?” exclaimed Santa. “You left the house with the window open and not locked. Then you lied that you went to get candy. You didn’t. You kid-napped elf Johnny. Then you went to the candy room and got candy. Isn’t that right?” accused Santa.

“Right, I kidnapped him. I was mad at Johnny, but I was wrong to kidnap him,” said James.

“He’s in the trunk of the sleigh,” sobbed James.

Santa and the sheriff ran to the sleigh. When they opened the trunk they found Johnny happily eating candy canes. Santa asked, “Are you all right?”

Johnny replied, “Of course, I am alright. We were just playing.”

Santa realized that James had made a mistake, but he had never really planned to hurt Johnny. He asked Bob not to put him in prison. In-stead he talked with James about why he was mad at Johnny. Santa helped him understand a better way to solve his problem, and San-ta apologized for getting so angry instead of asking ques-tions.

Johnny, James, and Santa went back to living, happy and jolly lives.

Bill and Joe’s Reindeer Hunt

By Ely CrawfordDeep in Mint Hills, Bill,

a purple gorilla, and Joe, a mouse, were hanging their stockings and then some-thing hit the roof like a slap of a penguin’s belly. Some man came down the chim-ney with a bound. It was Saint Nick. Joe said, “Jeep-ers, it is Father Christmas.”

Bill said, “Why are you here?”

Santa put the toys in the stocking and sprang up the chimney. He sprang into his sleigh and flew out of sight. Bill and Joe heard him say, “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.” Then Santa crashed right into Mint Mountain and hit it with a splat.

Bill and Joe hopped into their super power station wagon. When they arrived at the crash site they found

Santa, but there were only seven reindeer. Santa said, “Please go and get Don-ner and Rudolph. They are called...runners.” Bill and Joe climbed back into the super power station wagon. They could see Rudolph a mile away because of his shiny nose. They quickly caught Rudolph and then they saw Donner. It took al-most an hour, but they finely caught Donner. Santa flew away, and Christmas was saved.

P.B.E.F part 1 By Elijah Keller 5DI suppose you’re won-

dering what P.B.E.F stands for. Well, okay, if you really want to know it stands for Present Bomber Elf Force. We are part of an elite Air Force, but instead of bombs we drop presents. Have you ever wondered how Santa gets all around the world in one night? Well on Christ-mas Eve he stays at a giant hangar at the North Pole where all the pilot elves like my brother each are as-signed a child and it’s pres-ent. Then they fly from the hangar, go to the houses, drop the presents into the chimneys, and fly back to the hangar. But me, I’m not a pilot elf, I am a mission control elf. Oh, sorry I for-got to introduce myself. I am Mark and my story is about one very special Christmas. Christmas Eve, North Pole.

“Santa what are we going to do,” questioned Santa’s head elf.

2 hours earlier“Brother give us the cue,”

exclaimed my brother.“Okay, ho, ho, go,” I re-

plied.“Sir, I’m almost to the first

house,” said my brother.“Is the present locked and

loaded,” I asked.“Affirmative, sir,” he an-

swered back.“Ok, line it up and drop

it.” I reminded him.“Yes, sir, almost there, got

it.” He bragged to me and all the elves.

“Sir, all the others pres-ents have been delivered,” the elf pilots reported.

“Are you sure?” I ques-tioned.

“Yes, sir,” he said.12:17am Christmas morn-

ing.“Sir,” said the other mis-

sion control elf.“Yes, what is going on?” I

asked.“Turns out that we forgot

a child,” he said in a quiet voice.

“What? It’s already Christmas morning, where is the present?” I cried.

“At anti-Santa’s house, in the South Pole,” he an-nounced.

To be continued in part 2(Just kidding there is no

part 2…yet)

Rudolph and Jolly Joe By Jose Castro 5DRudolph and his friend

Jolly Joe, the squirrel, were playing in a big pile of snow.Jolly Joe had told Rudolph he was going to go to his nest and decorate it up with some jolly Christmas lights and also with a little jolly tree.Rudolph wanted to help, but he couldn’t climb like Jolly Joe.Rudolph had an idea.He would get the magic powder. He went to Santa’s house and got the magic powder but without asking Santa first.

Later that same day, San-ta started wondering where he had left the magic pow-der. Meanwhile, Rudolph poured the magic powder on himself.”Ok Jolly Joe, I’m ready.Lets do this!” yelled Rudolph.

“Ok Rudolph are you sure you won’t get in trouble with Santa?” asked Jolly Joe.

“No,I won’t” said Rudolph“You sure?” asked Jolly

Joe.“Yup,” said Rudolph. Ru-

dolph and Jolly Joe started to decorate the tree. Ru-dolph loved flying around

the enormous tree hanging up bright Christmas lights. Flying was more fun than a snowball fight.

Meanwhile Santa was starting to panic. He didn’t find the magic powder any-where, so he started to check with the each of the elves. Finally he looked for the the reindeer who were resting in their stalls. Rudolph slipped into his quietly. Santa started asking each reindeer about the magic powder. Rudolph admitted to Santa that he took the magic powder. Ru-dolph checked in his stall, but the magic powder wasn’t anywhere. Rudolph worried-ly said,”I probably dropped the magic powder at Jolly Joe’s house, Santa.”

Rudolph and Santa went to check at Jolly Joe’s tree and nothing was there. Ru-dolph checked everywhere except not in the squirrel’s burrow. Rudolph said, “San-ta I think it’s in Jolly Joe’s burrow.”

“Ok let’s go check, Ru-dolph,” said Santa. Finally they found the magic pow-der. “Don’t ever do this again, Rudolph,” said Santa.

“I promise, Santa,” said Rudolph .Everybody was happy about the magic pow-der being back. Jolly Joe made lots of nut treats for everyone because the magic powder was back and Santa brought Christmas candy to all of the elves and reindeer.

Santa’s in Trouble By Jessinda Davenport 5DIn Santa’s work shop

there was trouble brewing! The elves had too much time on their hands. Some were pranking Santa! San-ta was not happy. The elves were turning back calendars and opening presents. San-ta needed help and fast, or all the presents would be opened before Christmas! If this pranking continued all the good little girls and boys would not get a present from Santa. So he called in the

most feared person in the land. Willow!

Now, I know that name doesn’t sound like it belongs to someone who is scary or mean, but she was! Willow would yell, and make the elves do what she said or they would get punished! When all the elves saw her they ran and hid! But her arrival just made the pranks worse! The elves completely STOPPED making toys!

Santa was furious! So he told Willow to start making them shape up or she was fired! The elves were furi-ous at Santa. They were just trying to have fun! But San-ta didn’t see their pranks as fun. He thought that they were misbehaving! The elves didn’t want Willow to get fired so they did what they were supposed to do. Even though they thought that Santa was being overly dra-matic. Santa was so happy, and so was Willow! Willow

stopped yelling at the elves and lead them with kind-ness. The elves were doing what they were supposed to do! Santa saved Christmas and there was a happy New Year!!!!!!!

No SNOW! By Jhoana OlmosIt was Christmas Eve and

Eve woke up so happy think-ing there would be snow falling outside. Instead she saw nothing on the ground and nothing falling. She was crushed, and she couldn’t stop crying of sadness. She cried and her mother came in and said, “Honey, is some-thing wrong?”

Eve replied, “There is no snow! I waited and waited for months to see snow and to go outside and play with the snow. I wanted to show my little sister her first year of snow and what it looks like, but there is nothing to show!”

Her mother replied, “It’s only Christmas Eve. To-morrow is Christmas Day. It might snow tomorrow. Okay?!”

Eve asked, “Are you sure mother it will snow instead of rain?”

Eve’s mother answered, “I’m not sure it’s going to rain, but I’m think it’s going to snow. But anyways come down stairs. You need to eat breakfast”

Eve responded, “Okay, mother, I will be right down there.”

“Mmmmmm, that was some yummy breakfast .Thank you mother for the delicious breakfast, but I’m still sad about the snow. I wish it snowed when I want-ed it to,” explained Eve.

Mother reminded, “You know what I said. Right, hon? I said that today is Christmas Eve and that to-morrow is Christmas Day. Ok? The snow is probably

not ready to fall.”Eve fussed, “Oh I just

can’t wait for tomorrow! I’m going to brush my teeth ok mother?”

Mother replied, “Okay, hon.” So then Eve went to brush her teeth. When she was finished, her little sis-ter had woken up. Eve went downstairs to tell her mother that her little sister had wo-ken up. Her mother ran up-stairs to the room that was right next door from Eve’s.

Mom opened the door and grabbed Sky and said, “There, there, Sky don’t cry I’m here now. I’m going downstairs to give her her bottle.”

The rest of the day was or-dinary and boring for Eve.

The next morning it was Christmas Day, and Eve was for sure it was going to snow. She looked out her window and she saw NOTH-ING again. She started to cry again her mother came in and asked, “Hon, why are you crying? Is some-thing wrong again?” Mother looked out the window and she knew why Eve was cry-ing. Mother gave Eve a hug and said, “I’m sorry it was not the day for the snow. I had a feeling there would be no snow again”

Eve replied, “I thought you said there would be snow, but there is nothing! For the second time!”

Mother replied, “Trust me honey, the snow is probably not ready to fall now. I’m go-ing to make breakfast, okay? While I’m at it go take a shower and then brush your teeth!” Mother went down-stairs to get breakfast ready. When Eve was finished she went downstairs to the breakfast that Mother had made. After Eve got down there her mother asked her if she felt better.

Eve replied, “Yes, a little bit. I feel a bit better.”

Time passes by and Eve was starting to get bored. Suddenly she heard a knock

at the door. Eve opened the door. It was her friend Misty. Misty said, “Hey, Eve, I thought I’d probably come to your house since there is no snow out”

Eve replied, “Okay, come on in. I’m also a bit bored since there is no snow falling outside”

Later on as they played Eve saw a tiny white speck on her window. She ran to the window and yelled, “ SNOW!!” Misty looked over to where Eve was look-ing. She said, “Finally some snow. I’m going home to get my snow pants! Kk see you later.”

Eve’s mother came in and asked, “What’s all the yelling about?

“MOTHER IT IS SNOW-ING,” squealed Eve.

Eve’s mother replied, “Really?! Oh my let’s see”

Eve said to her mother, “May you please put on Sky’s winter stuff on so we can play outside, so I can fi-nally show my little sister her first year of winter and how snow looks like?”

Mother replied, “Okay!” When mother finished put-ting on Sky’s winter stuff they went outside and had tons of fun.

Redneck Gummy Bears By Katlin Reney ClarkA long time ago I was a

baby gummy bear. Actually I was a redneck gummy bear. I had a redneck because every time it snowed I got the gum-my pox .When little gummy bears get the gummy pox it means they get little red happy faces on their bodies. Mine showed up on my neck. I had to stay inside while I was sick. I didn’t like winter because it made me feel sad as I watched the other gum-my bears get to have fun and play in the snow. I could nev-er do that because I was sick every winter for my first five years.

Oops, I forgot about that part. I just turned six years

old. Gummy bears stop get-ting sick when they turn six, so I don’t have gummy pox anymore even when it snows pink cotton candy. That means I can go out and play in the snow and play with all my gummy bear friends, and now I love winter.

The Summer Winter By Michael GalvezIt was a regular summer

day and then, “Kabooooom !!!” I was awakened by the sound. I was confused, but then I remembered I was going to go swimming today with my friends. But when I went outside…. I couldn’t

go outside… because when I opened the door snow fell on me. I got up and I was freezing.

My mom and my broth-er, Jonathan, came in and said surprised, “What in the world? What is going on?”

“I don’t know. I just want-ed to go swimming with my friends and this happened.” And so Michael got all his gear on and went outside to see his friend Dale and his brother Jonathan. Michael met them at the square.

“What is going on?” asked Michael.

“I don’t know,” said Dale.Dale and Jonathan were

worried.“The snow came at the

blink of an eye. Well we will just have to deal with it,” said Michael with sadness.

Days went by making it feel like years, but then one day Michael, got a letter from the North Pole. He read it:

Dear Michael,You might be wondering

what happened to your sum-mer. Well it was me, Evil Santa Claus. So if you want your summer back come and get me. Hahahahahaha.

Yours evilly,Evil SantaThe boys knew that they

had to go to the North Pole. So they got all of their things ready and went to the airport. They all got on a plane and headed to the North. When they got there it was colder than it had ever been before. It was so cold even the polar bears were scared. The three boys knew that this walk would be life threatening.

Five days later, the boys had been taking shelter in a cave. Michael stayed watch one night. That night he saw something glowing on the

ground, so he went to go find out what it could be. He looked down at the glowing light and saw a button. He pushed it, and a doorway briefly opened to Santa’s workshop, so he woke up Dale and Jonathan.

“Guys, I found the way to Santa’s work-shop,” said Michael as he pointed to the wall.Dale and Jonathan were so confused. Michael pressed the button that looked like a chunk of ice, and the door opened surprising Dale and Jonathan. The three boys went inside, and no one was there. It was so quiet. The only thing there was snow. The boys saw all kinds of lights. Then suddenly they saw Santa Claus. He didn’t look like Evil Santa Claus.

“What is going on here,” asked Michael.

“Oh no! You found me,” said Santa sarcastically.

“Who are you,” asked Mi-chael.

“I’m Evil Santa.”“So where is the good

Santa?”“You’re looking at him.

He is right here under my spell.”

“So you’re the real San-ta?”

“Yes, it his body, but I am in his mind. I am controlling him from the South Pole.”

“What?” questioned Mi-chael.

“Enough talk. Come and get me if you want your sum-mer back.”

So then Santa, well Evil Santa, got a snowball ma-chine and started to fire. Michael ran for cover and so did Jonathan and Dale. Mi-chael then saw Rudolph.

“Knock Santa’s hat off,” said Rudolph.

Michael grabbed a snow-ball and threw it at the snow-ball machine, and it explod-ed. Then Michael had a clear shot, and he took it. The sec-ond snowball knocked the hat right off of Santa’s head. When the hat came off there was a magical reaction.

Santa suddenly shouted, “Happy Birthday!”

The boys realized the Evil Santa’s power had been va-porized. The real Santa was back, although he was very confused. The boys left Ru-dolph to explain everything, and they flew back home and went swimming!

The Children at Christmas By Marisol Perez 5DOn Christmas Eve Santa

comes to bring toys to Alex-andra. Her brother, Brian, told her that it was almost Christmas. They were both very happy and excited.

The elves helped Santa put Brian and Alexandra’s spe-cial gifts in the sleigh. Santa and the reindeer left. While the children were sleeping, Santa slid down their chim-ney. He left Alexandra a beautiful doll and Brian a blue shiny bike.

The next morning they woke up and were so happy with their presents.

The Christmas Tree By Nancy Montoya 5D

“Mom! Yay! You are here ! Can we please get a Christ-mas tree? Please?” begged

Avery as her mom walked in the front door.

“Yes, sure let’s go buy one,” said Ellen, her mom. “Go get in the car.”

“Mom,” said Avery. “What color are we going to get for the Christmas tree?”

“What do you mean?” asked Ellen.

Avery said ,”There are green, white, and silver trees. What color are we going to get?”

Ellen replied , “I don’t know, but I thought you meant like purple or blue colors of trees.”

“Mom don’t be silly,” laughed Avery.

(At store)“Yay! We are here! Mom,

I decided I want a white tree, because it looks like it snowed on it,” said Avery.

“Ok, this one it is!” replied Avery’s mom.

“Mom can we also buy ornaments to decorate the tree?” asked Avery.

“Sure,” said her mom.(At home)“Mom, can you help me

decorate the tree?” asked Avery.

“Not right now, I have work to do, but you can start decorating,” answered Ellen.

Avery was not happy that she was decorating the tree alone. She decided to put the tree in her room since she was doing the work.

Later that day, Avery’s big brother came to the liv-ing room. “Hey, where’s the tree? Why does she get the tree in her room?” asked Stan when he saw it in Av-ery’s room. “Can’t it be in my room, not hers?” begged Stan .

Then Avery’s sister came to the living room. “Hey ! I did not know we had a Christmas tree! Why is it in Avery’s room? Can I have it in my room please,” begged Cloe. So then the three kids started fighting for the tree.

This is what Ellen did, she yelled, “STOP EVERY-BODY ! We’ll put it in the

living room, if everyone will work together to decorate it, okay?”

The three kids agreed and they had a wonderful Christ-mas and a beautiful white tree.

Nightmare on Christmas Eve

By Noemi Vega 5D“HEY, Santa get up! It’s

Christmas Eve you have to get up so we can deliver toys!” yelled Rudolph.

“I will, I just have to get fattened up!” replied Santa to Rudolph.

Santa quickly sucked up the magic fattening gas. He became as fat as an elephant!

“Penelope get me my hat. Let’s go!” declared Santa.

“ U m m m … … S a n t a ? ” asked Penelope.

“Yes Penelope?” ques-tioned Santa.

“Your beard sir……San-ta it’s.…well, it’s GONE!!” cried Penelope.

“What are you talking about Penelope?!” won-dered Santa.

Penelope handed Santa a peppermint mirror.

“WELL!!! Mighty pep-permint swirl! My beard it is gone! Who did this to me?” screeched Santa. “Nobody will know it’s me!!!

“Santa, nobody knows it is you any year! Everybody is asleep when you deliver toys!” reassured Penelope.

“Yes they do! Those little spies that pretend to sleep on the couch are always peeking out from the covers!” de-clared Santa.

“Santa those are cats!” ar-gued Penelope.

“Well Penelope THEY know me!” yelled Santa.

——————Meanwhile at the

lab.............“Santa we are searching

for everybody on the naugh-ty list that could have shaved your beard off! I think we found our guy......well......elf. Her name is Nora. She is in the bear room!” informed

Penelope.“Okay, let’s go!’ squeled

Rudolph.——————5 minutes later at

the bear room.........Santa, Rudolph, and Penelo-pe entered and saw Nora. She had Santa’s long white hair on her head like a wig!!!

“Nora give me back my beard. Now!” demanded Santa.

Nora took off the hair and threw it into the bear she was making and sewed it in. The beard was lost in the bear. Santa had a meltdown! He got his scissors and cut off the head. He dug into the head and he found his white beard. He then glued it on his face!

He went to the first house of the night and went down the chimney. He got a pres-ent and put it on the mantel. His beard fell off! There it lay for 45 minutes, then San-ta noticed and went back and

got his beard and glued it back on! In the morning the child woke up and saw white curly hair on the mantel, she knew whose it was...........SANTAS!!!

Spike Saves the Day By Samantha Sisk 5DIt was a snowy day, and

I was decorating the tree. I have some cool ornaments to hang on the tree. I have Rudolph, a cool penguin that is eating a cookie, and a po-lar bear eating an ice cream cone. and Santa’s sleigh with a bag of gifts inside of it. I also have a big snowflake. It is my favorite. My mom gave it to me for a gift.

When I finished deco-rating the tree my brother asked if I wanted to go out to play in the snow with Spike and him. My brother has a dragon. His name is Spike. He quacks like a duck. He is black and white with big wings. Spike is funny when

he plays in the snow. Spike ate snowflakes and he likes snowflakes. When Spike came in Josh made cocoa for me and Spike. We were about to watch Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer when out of nowhere we heard a thump on the roof. IT WAS SANTA!

“My sleigh broke down and I need your help,” said Santa.

“Ok, Santa, we will help you,” said Sam. “Get on Spike, Santa. He is very fast when he is flying, so we can fly you somewhere for sleigh parts. We will have the job done in an hour or so.”

We were almost done when Santa asked, “Would you like to finish delivering gifts with me and go to the North Pole? I have some-thing for you and Spike to thank you for saving Christ-mas.”

Of course, we said yes! When we arrived at the

The Statue By Tyler Binning“Why?! Why?! “ Mrs.

Claus cried blowing into a tissue. “Why did Medusa have to turn Santa into stone. Why?” she cried again. Jeff, the main elf, just shook his head and continued giving her tissues.

That evening all the elves went to a meeting in the House of Elves. At the meeting one elf cried out, “WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!”

Another bawled “WHO’S GOING TO BE SANTA!”

“How can we turn Santa back into a person instead of a statue?” asked another thoughtfully.

Jeff hit the table with his gavel and yelled, “ORDER!” Then told them, “I have anexpert here to help us.........Medusa’s sister, Drone .”

Some elves shouted, “HOW DO WE KNOW SHE WILL NOT KILL US ALL!!” There was a big commotion. Jeff slammed the table with his gavel again. It became silent. Jeff asked Drone, “Is there a way to cure Santa?”

“Yes,” she said, “you would have to travel to the underworld and cut a piece of Medusa’s hair off her head. But the only way you can do that is by slicing it with a broken mirror. Then you would have to bring the hair to Santa and set it on his feet. Don’t forget you can’t look at her!” she said quickly and disappeared.

Then Jeff sputtered, “Who is going to volunteer to go?”

Rudolph walked in and announced, “I will do it!”

“So you will go to the under-world and cut a piece of Me-dusa’s hair,” questioned Jeff.“Noooo…. I thought peo-ple were volunteering to be Santa,” Rudolph said in

disappointment.Then Mrs. Claus’s son

Deem entered the House of Elves and exclaimed, “I will do it!”

“Agreed,” Jeff declared hitting his gavel on the table.

“But I will need a team,” Deem said. The room went dead quiet. He pointed at four Elves including Jeff.

The four elves were trem-bling with fear as they went out the door to get started right away. Jeff said, “The only way to go to the under-world is to go deep under water at the South Pole.”

Deem and the elves walked to the giant sled and flew through the air for about 6 hours. When they reached the South Pole they walked on to the cold, icy desert to the shore. “Let’s hurry and get this done and over with,” Deem advised. They jumped into the icy cold water with scuba gear on. Then in a flash they were in the under-world. Deem looked behind him and there were multiple colors swirling around in a wall like shape.

They soon figured out that the swirling colors were dis-guising Medusa.

“Hand the mirror to me, Jeff, “ demanded Deem.

Jeff tossed the mirror to Deem. Deem threw the mirror at Medusa with-out looking her in the eye. It just barely hit her. A snakelike strand of hair was flung away from her head.Deem swam over to it, and he and all of the elves took off for the surface. Then they raced across the cold icy des-ert and quickly got on the sled. They soared back to the North Pole.

They took the magical piece of Medusa’s hair and set it on Santa’s feet. The Santa statue creaked and cracked as Santa awoke. With curiosity he asked what happened. Deem told him the whole story. Thanks to the bravery of Deem and the elves Christmas was back to

normal.

The Snow Cave By Will Cook 5DDeep in eighty feet of

snow was the snow cave. When I saw how deep it was I fell into the hole and fell for 22 feet with lots of growling, screaming and ice! I did not see icicles just a gi-ant ice slide. I slipped and fell some more to the bot-tom of the hole. I looked all around the snow cave for an escape. Eventually I found a trip wire. When I pulled it a trap finally let me free! I had been in the cave for a few weeks of school. Thank goodness I had been wearing my survival gear, a backpack full of supplies, and some firewood when I slipped into the hole.

I have a long day ahead with lots of explaining. May-be the best way for me to get the word out about what happened and that I’m OK is an email to all of my friends and family.

Christmas By Kobe Woods 5DChristmas is for little kids

By Shania Brakes 5D“Oh, there you are baby!

Boo, you keep on crawling out of your bed. I hope on Christmas you don’t crawl out and rip all your gifts up. Come on let’s go make breakfast. So what will it be baby Boo? Eggs, bacon, hash browns, or biscuits?” asked Boo’s mommy, Marilyn.

——————After the long night deliv-

ering presents Santa jumped off his sleigh and went to change into his sweats. When he entered his office he was startled by what he found.

“It’s about time, Santa!” Elf greeted Santa nervously.

“Is that a baby lying on our couch?” Santa asked. “Say, it is a baby! What is it doing here?”

“I don’t know Santa,” Elf exclaimed.

“Did you leave the doors unlocked?” Santa com-plained.

“No Santa! We found it in your bag when we were unloading your sleigh. We have to pull the panic button. Someone will say you are a kidnapper,” Elf worried.

“No, we have to play it cool, and don’t tell the other elves or my wife or they will panic,” Santa said fearlessly.

“What will we do with the baby?” questioned the elf.

“I have a plan, and it has to happen soon. For now we have to take care of the baby. I will tell Mrs. Claus I need to take a business trip. Then we will take him back to his house.”

Later Santa and his elf

were preparing for take-off. Santa called, “Time for our check. Baby - check, rein-deer - check.”

“Santa you have every-thing. You need to get going. Have a safe trip!”

“I always do! Remember to keep Mrs. Claus busy. Ready, set, go reindeer!” yelled Santa as he flew off.

“Ok, so you live right here, baby. Good, your mom’s here, and she is still asleep and so is your dad. Baby Boo, it was so fun getting to know you, but you have to go back to your own family. Here is your drop off. Bye baby Boo!”

As Santa flew away he said to himself, “I need to check my bag when I leave more carefully.”

——————Marilyn was startled

awake. “What was that scratching noise? Wait a minute someone is in the living room. It sounds like a baby. You don’t suppose it

is baby Boo? Let’s go see if it is it is.” Marilyn ran to the living room and found baby Boo just starting to rip into his presents.

“Oh baby! You have crawled out of your crib again!”

Christmas Boy By Joshua EspericuetaOne day there was a boy

named Carlos who want-ed to go and get Christmas presents for his family. He had some money because he worked on a neighbor’s farm. He wanted to go to the store, but it was far away. He lived in the country down a gravel road. The nearest town was ten miles away.

He thought about the train that went close to his house, but it flew by 80 miles per hour, so his only choice was to walk. He didn’t want to disappoint his family, so he walked for three hours to go to the store. It was freezing cold, below 27 degrees.

He bought clothes for gifts because his family need-ed clothes. His total was $384.00.

Then he started walking back home. The wind was really blowing and his bags were heavy. Snow started to fall. It took him four hours to walk back because he was so cold and tired. He even fell in the snow. His hands and feet felt frozen.

His family was so happy that he made it home final-ly. They helped warm him by turning up the heater and rubbing his hands and feet. He drank hot chocolate.

His family liked the gifts, but they were sad that he could have died from hy-pothermia. He was glad he walked the twenty miles.

By Calen Brown 5BThe BEST Christmas’s I

have EVER had was all of them. I don’t really care if I get presents. All I really want for Christmas is love, happiness, and thankfulness. I think that when you are cel-ebrating Christmas you are celebrating your life. Christ-mas is when Jesus was born. Jesus made your parents and they made you. So that is my story of the my BEST Christ-mas EVER was.

The BEST Christmas present I have EVER gotten was my phone cause I have always wanted a phone and I got one. I have had my phone for two years. I’ve only lost it twice, the first time I have ever lost it was in the car, the second time I have lost it was in my closet. The other pres-ent that was the best was my tablet and I played on it a lot but I can’t find the charger so I haven’t played on it for awhile, so I have to get a new charger for it. So those were the two BEST two presents I have EVER gotten!

By Kaylee Snyder 5BOnce upon a time their

was a newborn baby boy reindeer his parents were thinking of a name to name him because it is a tradition to name your baby after it comes to the world...oh and this is happening in the North Pole where Santa is. The parents finally named him Rudolph at the same time not to far away a baby girl reindeer was named Clarice. Rudolph’s parents are Donnor and his mother

Mitzi she also refers to Mrs. Donnor. Just six months af-ter he was born he joined the reindeer games and ev-eryone their laughed at him except for Clarice. Rudolph took off running and Clarice followed him. Soon the rein-deer games were over for that day but Rudolph knew he would have to go back to-morrow. After a few days of getting to know each other Rudolph and Clarice started to date. The next Christmas Rudolph was asked to use his nose in a foggy mission to deliver the presents to all the boys and girls.

Fifteen years later they had a baby I can’t tell you what happens next because I think that they are making another movie about them.

He took all the stuffing out of the dog! We were all in my mom’s room, then he just took it out of the package and pulled all of the stuffing out. When we came back to the living room the stuffing was all over. My brother put some on his head. My sister laughed so hard she got a pain in her side because my brother look very funny.

The Christmas dream By Josue Torres 5B“I was gonna go to bed but

I heard this thump on the window. I went running to my mom andsaid mom,mom Santas here.Go back to sleep bill. But mom Santas here. Go back to sleep! I can’t be-lieve it my mom didn’t be-lieve me so I went running downstairs I heard the thump again. next thing I know the cookies and the milk were gone now I knew that Santa was here. But a the last house I couldn’t believe it a kid saw me and it was my best friend billy. I told him to go back to sleep but he would not I told him if he didn’t go back to sleep I would put him on the

By Jesse 5BI thought my worst Christ-

mas was when I got clothes, because I wanted to have toys when I was five years old. I was being so good. Then I got clothes.

I went to my cousin’s house to have another Christmas, which is when my Christmas got better. They gave me lots of toys. I was five and I got a little plastic wood shop with tools. I was happier than ever. I played with those toys for two years.

I was so happy and excited. My parents let me stay at my cousin’s house for the wholeChristmas day and night. I was happy too that there was a trampo-line outside my cousin’shouse. We jumped and jumped laughing and play-ing.

The next morning we were amazed because it was my cousin’s birth-day and the party andplaying continued. We were grateful to get to play to-gether. We even got to swim in their pool for his birthday. My cousin’s name is Andy, but he lives in Sullivan Texas

itis nice and warm in Texas.

Why is Santa so large By Colby 5BEveryone knows San-

ta is large but no one knows why. And I am going to tell you why.It all started a long time ago Santa invented a shrink ray for his elves because his elves were too big always getting in the way. So Santa decided to shrink them so they would be easier to get around. But one of the elves found out and told the oth-ers they decided they would steal it while he was sleep-ing and put it in a present. And Santa wouldn’t know. After that Santa looked for the ray but never found it until one day ten years later. When the kid who got the shrink ray and opened it he asked,” dad why did I get a gun forChristmas?”Then his dad took it and said,” I don’t know you can have it when your older.”

Ten years later when Santa finally found it he took an elf with him to the house he bustedthe door and said,”-give me the shrink ray!” The dad said,” you mean the gun my son got forChristmas ten years ago!” “Yes!” Said Santa. The dad quickly got it and gave it to Santa. Then Santa said,”now let’s see if it works?” San-ta turned and shot it at his elve but the elve grabbed a plate and the shot bounced off the plate and hit San-

ta and he turned large.I know what you’re thinking it was a shrink. Then why did he turn large. The reason he turned large is because the dad play around with it and turned it into a large making ray.

Christmas Hater... By Takeisha 5BSara was walking outside

she saw one single snowflake and ran inside she hates snow and she hates Christ-mas. She hated her family because they would decorate the house like there’s no to-morrow she hated that peo-ple acted like Christmas was the best holiday ever. The only thing she liked was the

presents but she never got good ones. She is a good kid but she doesn’t like Christ-mas.

When it came to Christ-mas she would just sleep in until it was 12:00 PM but this year she decided to enjoy Christmas, so she went out-side and played in the snow and thought to herself the snow isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Later when her two brothers and two sisters went outside to have a snow-ball fight she asked if she could join them. Their jaws dropped down and stayed that way for two minutes when Sara asked again, this time they acted a little more normal.

Later that evening they were eating and Sara fin-ished first so she quickly got up and started to get the Christmas decorations out, but she decided to leave the tree until her parents were done eating. She started hanging things up as fast as a cheetah could run. By the time her family was done eating she had all the deco-rations up. They were walk-ing by and saw a sparkle in the corner of their eye and quickly scurried into the liv-ing room one after another all amazed about what they saw. It was even better than her parents decorating.

The next day it was Christ-

mas! Sara woke up at five thirty sharp and there she saw was the biggest present in the room she ran over to see who it was for and sure enough it was for her, she started to cheer so loud she woke up her neighbors. She tore it open even before she read the letter it was the best sled in the hole world. She was going to wake up her family when she saw the note it read

Dear Sara, I know that at first you didn’t like Christ-mas but I always knew you had the joy inside you to get used to it.

Sincerely your friend, Saint Nicholas

Sara ran to her brothers and her sisters room and started shouting and woke them up. She started to tell them about the note but she wouldn’t let them hold it. She always kept that note with her. One Christmas she got to see Santa but she nev-er told anyone before. She was a Christmas hater but now she’s a Christmas lover.

aunts, uncles and cousins came over to our house and we had already opened presents from them. We ate Guatemalatamales made out of corn that mymom and I had made. We listened to Christmas music, talked, laughed and played.

So, when we woke up and there were more presents, we were so excited. We watchedcartoons waiting for my par-ents to wake up. My little brother fell asleep again on the couch. Finally my dad woke up. My mom was too tired.

So me and my sister got the same shirt and we took pictures as a family and we had a little bit of tamales and played in the snow and we had a snow fight against my dad and I and I was happy to have fun with my family. Merry Christmas Everybody

Frosty the snowman By Sophia Hicks 5BIt was a week before Christ-

mas,all the kids were drawing pictures of Christmas trees in the windows. The teacher Miss.Hill came in and told the class they had a guest visitor coming in at 12:30 pm, “okay class lets get our math done before the visitor comes”, said Miss.Hill. It was 11:55 and the guest came early. He was doing a magic trick for the kids. He was doing the old bunny in the hat trick. But all of a sudden there was no bun-ny the bunny was somewhere in the class room . “Ok now kids where is the bunny” said the magician. “ok kids were did you put it” ,Said miss.Hill. “ we didn’t touch the bunny Miss.Hill”. Said the class. Well it was time for re-cess. So the kids went outside and built a snowman it was all built. “ what are we going to call him” said Sally . “Well I don’t know” said Timmy. “Oo how about frosty, frosty the snowman” said Sally. “ ok I like that name that’s per-fect” said Timmy. Then all of the kids joins hands and start-

ed singing “ frosty the snow-man” and they all had a very good Christmas. But right be-fore their very eyes was Santa Claus.

The Christmas Rudolph wasn’t available!

By Mikaela CowleyThe day before Christmas

Eve Santa was making sure his reindeer were well fed. When he got done he told Rudolph he was counting on him. Before he left he said “Ho,ho,ho good night”. They all slept until 3 in the after-noon. When they got up Ru-dolph was gone. He escaped. They didn’t dare tell Santa.

That night before they left Santa said “ Where’s Rudolph?” They then knew they were in trouble. So they went to go get ready. But there was bad weather and they needed Rudolph. So they yelled his name. But no Rudolph. So they left without him. When Rudolph came back he was sad. Rudolph

talked to Santa and told him he was mad. Santa told him he had to leave. Rudolph understood. They both used the habit Seek first to under-stand then to be understood.

A Christmas story By Alex HallI love Christmas because

this year there are way more presents, the meals are big-

ger, and the Christmas lights may number at the million! But we have not forgotten the true meaning for the sea-son. It is we come together to honor our lord as a family.

What I do during Christ-mas is we put duct tape on my family’s Christmas pres-ents and you must have a pocket knife when you open them up in case you get the duct tape on your presents. Last year I had it so this year I will put it on my papa’s.but I love Christmas because I love spending time with my family. And I love having fun with my cousin to. And my cousin like opening pres-ents to. And it is fun to watch them get all excited. about opening their presence to.

Bruce said, “He’s just a fairytale.” But then Mike said, “Tomorrow come to my house at 10:00 p.m. Then Kim said, “We’ll be there.”

The next day they went to Mike’s house. When they got there, Mike was outside waiting for them. Mike said, “Come inside.” So they all went inside.

Bruce asked, “Why is there gear on the floor?” Mike told him to just put it on. So Bruce put the night vi-sion goggles and camouflage clothes.

Kim put hers on, too and laughed, “Let’s go catch San-ta.”

Each of them hid some-where in the living room. Thirty minutes later they saw Santa. He was eating cook-ies. Bruce was prepared and caught Santa on film. Sud-denly Santa saw Kim and ran for his life up the chimney.

When the kids ran outside to look, Santa was already gone. Everyone’s jaws hung open. Mike quietly said, “ Told you!”

After that, they ran to their stockings and found only chunks of coal for scar-ing the living day lights out of Santa.

The Evil Santa By Jessica Guerrero

There once was a man named Dylan. He was the meanest of the meanest, rudest of the rudest, and fat-test of the fattest. One day he thought to himself, “San-ta never gave me a present, why should kids get pres-ents, all they are are spoiled brats.”

So he dressed up like San-ta Claus . He was already pretty fat so he looked a lot

like Santa. There was just one problem , he did not have any reindeer . But he did own deer. He want to the barn and tied antlers on all of his deer. He found his old sled and tied the deer to his sled and went off.

He got to this house that was decorated. He was about to go in the door but then he remembered that Santa went through the chimney. He climbed on top of the house and went down the chimney and got stuck halfway. That night he died.

was 2ft. of snow,I went out-side to play in the snow, but there was to in the way,so I had to climb through my window to get outside, but when I got outside the snow was so deep I had to walk slowly through the snow.

So when I got to my friends house house he was stuck in his room.So I asked where his shovel was.He said it was in the garage. So I went in the garage.I found a snowblower, but not a shov-el so I asked him if his dad bought a snowblower and got rid of the shovel. He said yes.So I started to snowblow a path for him, but it ran out of gas. So I asked him if there was any gas around and he said there was some at the gas station so I got in there car and grabbed a gas canister with me and filled it up and took it back and Poured it in the snowblower and finished the path

When he got out we where we’re in trouble be-cause there was to much snow all over the place, but then Santa clause flew in and he asked us if we can help him with something at the North Pole. And we said yes.he told us that he wants us to ride the “ express”.We were so excited about it.So we rode the “polar express”.To the North Pole and we helped Santa deliver the presents.

Christmas, everyone was in there beds. Santa clause was at the North Pole getting ready for a surprise in Duf-fle town. In the middle of the town stood a tall bright tree. It stood there about 60 feet high, and 20 feet wide.

The next morning in Duf-fle town all the lights, and decorations on the tree were missing! Everyone ran outside to check what had just happened. “Why would someone do this!” Cried a lady in the crowd. The may-

or came up on a hill, and announced, “I have 20 men looking for he, or she who had done this.”

All the sudden 20 men came out with armor on. 1 of the men seen a man run-ning with a lot of wires in his hands. The man told the mayor he had seen someone with a red jacket, and a long white beard, plus he’s fat. The mayor made the man show all the rest of the 19 men to show them the way. When the men went around the corner there was Santa Clause with his Rain deer, and sled with a bag full of surprises and toys.

Christmas Story By Alivia BakleyA couple years ago I went

to go get to get a Christmas tree with my mom, sisters and also my dog. My dog was sitting in the car. It took a long time to get there. So I took a nap. When we finally got there, we had to bundle up because it was freezing cold. We had to put the dog on a leash so he wouldn’t run away. We looked at all the trees. There were chunky ones, skinny ones, and tall ones. There were about ten million trees. So my mom wanted a perfect tree but there is no such thing as a perfect tree. We went look-ing and I wanted to help car-ry the tree but it was really heavy. I couldn’t help, so I played in the snow with my dog. My dogs name is Sally and she is crazy. Then we had to go pay for the tree it still had snow on it. The log cabin where you pay at was warm and cozy. There was a couch and everything. So I stayed in there with my mom while they strapped the tree to the pickup.

We were playing in the cabin and we had to leave because we had to go put our Christmas tree up. When we were in the car, I went in the back with Mallory and my mom was outside of the car talking to someone. Mallory let me play on her phone and I got a new high score on Pac man. Then we stopped at Casey’s and we got some Pringles. Then we stopped at McDonald’s and

got a hamburger with french fries. When we got home we noticed we did not have a tree stand. We had to go to Walmart to get one. We looked and looked and fi-nally we found one. It was red. Then we decorated the Christmas tree. After we were done it looked fantas-tic.

Pepper By Ami JacksonOnce upon time there was

a little girl named Pepper. She was the daughter of the black smith and the baker her mom’s name is Trixy

and her dads name is Parker. Parker was best black smith in the village. Trixy was the best baker in the village to. But one day it started to snow. Also pepper knew what was coming up and that was Christmas .Christmas was the best day of the year for pepper. Pepper wanted a pony. Christmas Eve so it was the Christmas Eve and Trixy was going to the barn to pick out a horse she picked the perfect horse. Christmas Day Pepper woke up and ran down the stairs and looked. There was a train and a doll-house also some candy and

a rocking chair it was a little one too.

Big Rock Candy Moun-tain…

By Breanna Selsor“Dasher, Dancer, Prancer,

Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Don-ner, Blitzen, and Rudolph,” barked the little elf Ralf as he took roll call.

“RUDOLPH!? Where is Rudolph?” said Ralf?

“I don’t know, “ said Prancer

“Last time I saw him he was taking a walk” said Blit-zen.

“A Walk! Why was he tak-ing a walk, and where?” Ralf questioned.

“Up Big Rock Candy Mountain cause he needed to deliver something, but I don’t know” said Blitzen.

“Has he come back?” Asked Ralf.

“No avidly “ Vixen grouched.

“We need to send out a search party! Right now! Right away! Where are you Rudolph?” Ralf command-ed.

As the search party went on, Rudolph was dangling off a candy cane cliff. An elf named Trixie saw him. Trix-ie was not part of the search party, Trixie was an orphan elf. Her parents died sav-ing Santa from the evil Jack Frost. Trixie was not like the other elves she had much bigger ears and loved to run. One day the children were making fun of her, so she ran away to Big Rock Candy Mountain. She thought that

Rudolph came to make fun of her. So she didn’t help, till Rudolph yelled “HELP! PLEASE HELP ME! “

When she heard Rudolph yell she ran up to help him. She asked how she could help.

Rudolph said, “ Run down this mountain, go and get Santa and the reindeers.”

“Can’t do that,” she said“Please you have to help

me!” Rudolph whined.“Is there another way for

me to help you?” she ques-tioned.

“Oh please you have to help me. PLEASE! “Ru-dolph whined again.

Finley Trixie speeded down the mountain. On her why down a letter hit her it said,

Dear Trixie, Santa would love to have you back. He needs to have someone who is smart and strong. He miss-es your parents and loved them dearly. He says you remind him of your parents. Please came back,

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Trixie started to cry. She took a deep breath and start-ed to run again. As she ran down, she bumped into Ralf and Blitzen. She wondered why they were going up the mountain so fast. “Why are you guys up her?”

“We’re looking for Ru-

dolph the Red Nose Rein-deer. Have you seen him?” said Ralf.

“Red nose right?” asked Trixie.

“Yah “ said Ralf.“Yes, I’ve seen him he is

in danger follow me” said Trixie.

Calling all Santa hunters we’ve found Rudolph on Big Rock Candy Mountain. Go back home and get ready for Christmas, Ralf command-ed through his walkie talkie. They ran to were Rudolph was. Ralf yelled, “Rudolph we are sending Blitzen down to get you. Blitzen got Ru-dolph and flew down Big Rock Candy Mountain with Trixie and Ralf. They got to Santa’s workshop, everyone cheered and got Christmas. Eventually Ralf and Trixie got married. Everyone lived happily after.

Christmas By Jennyfer Alexandra

Salvador HernandezI have lived my first ten

years in El Salvador. This will be my first Christmas in Iowa with my mom, step-dad and snow.

In El Salvador we prepare for Christmas by buying new clothes. Sometimes we pur-chase them earlier in De-cember, and other years we buy them on December 24th. We bathe and get dressed

After eating, my cous-ins and I play soccer in the street. We always play in the street. At 11:00 P.M. we set off fireworks, until midnight, the beginning of Christmas day. Most fam-ilies have the same tradi-tions. Then everyone goes home and goes to bed. We don’t exchange gifts.

The next day, Christmas day, we sometimes go to church with my grandma and brother.

The Christmas Eve Disas-ter

By Devesh DesaiIn December 24, 2014 a

boy named Devesh was hav-ing a great snowball fight at his motel against his dad Jay. He was happy until he was almost blasted by a giant snowball. The giant snowball hit the side of the mountain. He quickly es-caped the snowball before it hit the mountain. SLAM! There was an avalanche. Devesh quickly rolled and sprinted away before he was covered in snow. Then blizzard came and he went inside.

Later he was drinking hot cocoa. Then he saw the storm was over, but when he opened the door to play in the snow, the door was covered with snow. He ran into the snow to get out and make a path outside. He said “uh help?” Then he tried again nine more times. On the tenth time he got outside. When he got out-side he had another snow-ball fight with his brother. Then he was in front of the mountain and another av-alanche came. This time Devesh couldn’t escape the

snow. He was completely covered by snow. Maahir tried to help Devesh, but he couldn’t. Maahir went and got his dad to come help get Devesh out of the snow. De-vesh’s dad got a shovel and started digging Devesh out. After about thirty minutes of digging, Jay saw Devesh’s hand and pulled Devesh out. All three of them went inside to warm up. They never played in front of the mountain again.

What I Do In Winter By Dominic LopezWinter is cold, fun and

enjoyable. What I do in winter is I go skiing in the mountains with my family. It’s fun getting snow in your face but not to much. We drink hot co-co with marsh-mallows when it’s to cold to build a snowman or a igloo but when my family and I build a igloo we have fun falling down but we keep on building. Also I build snow forts, my brothers always cheat one way or anoth-er but it’s still fun to play snowball fights with them and I can’t forget my sister she’s also helps by building the snow fort. After that we go in get changed eat then watch a movie or play with our dog. Finally we do something like the ice buck-et challenge but instead of dumping a bucket of ice on

our heads we dump a bucket snow on our heads and keep it there until everyone else gives up its just for fun,so far I haven’t lost to my brothers or anyone but I probably will eventually

Winter fun By Dominic LopezI’m looking out the win-

dow looking at other kids they are having fun but I’m stuck in here sitting here sleeping here eating here and its boring, I so wish I could go but I can’t I just can’t I just want to go out-side but I can’t because I’m sitting in a pile of super glue, my sister always bothers me she teases me she will nev-er leave me alone I wish I could get out of here to tell her leave me alone! But I can’t because I’m stuck in a pile super glue. I wish I could go outside and build a snow man or a snow angle or even build a igloo (I can’t really build one). I wish I could roll that big ball for a snow man then the medium then the small but I can’t be-cause I’m stuck in a pile of super glue. Well now I think it’s time to tell you how I got in this pickle. First I was called to go to super, when I got there my sister was there she gave me something that made want to sleep, so I went to sleep. When I woke up I found myself in this su-

per glue, so that’s how I got in super glue.

How to Make a Snowman By Eric Zaragoza-RosalesFirst make a large ball of

snow. Then make a medi-um ball of snow. Next make a small ball of snow. Stack them on top of each other. Get two sticks and 9 rocks, two mittens, a scarf and a winter hat. Poke the sticks on each side of the medi-um ball. Put mittens on the sticks. Put 2 rocks on the small ball for eyes. Put a car-rot for the nose on the little ball, too. Use 5 rocks for a smile and the rest for but-tons on the medium ball. Tie the scarf around the top of the medium ball and place winter hat on the small ball. Now go inside and have hot cocoa!

Snow Day By Ethan DominaOne day there was a snow

day. When I woke up I

looked out my window and I saw there was 25 feet of snow! I was in shock it was higher than the house. Then I told my mom there is a lot of snow. I got my snow stuff on and I went outside but I couldn’t open the door. Then I told my dad to help me and he did and I barely got out. When I got out I was under the snow I had to dig my way out of the snow. When I got out I went straight back down in the snow. Then I got the sled and I got out again and I got on the sled and I had to use all my might to push the sled. I couldn’t see anything but snow in my way not even the fence. I dug passageways to get though the snow. I found a really steep hill to sled down of I went so fast down the hill. Then I found a way back to the house when I went in the house it was so warm when I got there I put on 10 sweaters to keep me warm. Then I had

some warm hot chocolate and it was so warm it burnt my lip I couldn’t believe it was that warm and it felt so good! At the end of the day I couldn’t believe how fun it was but I was glad to be in-side and cozy. Till the next time bye!

How Hank Spends Christ-mas

By Haylee Hendrickson 5A

One day there was a lit-tle boy named Hank. He was jumping on a trampo-line and one by one people came on it. That is his fam-ily. They were jumping on the trampoline and then one of them had to get off of it, because it is too crowded on the jumping trampoline. It was Hank who got off the trampoline. Then the tram-poline flew in the sky and the little boy Hank was cry-ing. The little boy walked inside the house.

He was like, “MOM,

MOM COME BACK! DON’T GO!” He yelled out the door.

But the family went to Candy Land and the tram-poline had a mouth and it ate the whole land. At the end it snowed and everyone danced and sang and started to get silly. This is how he spent the day at his house and his family spent the day at Candy Land.

Christmas Story By Jaxsyn BoswellCHRISTMAS there’s is

a lot of snow outside. The Christmas tree is up and decorated. The smell off cinnamon filled the air. Suddenly I heard a crash. I ran and hid. I heard some-thing fall down the chim-ney. When the black smoke cleared I saw a man. He had a bright red suit and a bag on his back. It scared me so I went down stairs and grabbed my gun. When I got back up with my gun, he was half way up the chimney. I went out side, and there was a bunch of 12 point bucks standing on my roof. The man said Ho Ho Ho then the deer started to fly. When I got back inside I saw a bunch of presents. Then it dawned on me I scared off Santa.

Christmas Eve By JaydenI like Christmas because

it is fun and because Santa gives me lots of presents and my parents do, too. My fa-vorite kind of candy is can-dycane . I like Christmas because it is the best time of the year.I like Christmas because Jesus was born in Christmas and because Christmas is the best holi-day ever.

How to Spend Christmas Day

By Jessica PeddycoartDo you like Christmas

morning when all the family gets together to open pres-

ents? Well then I’m going to tell you how to have fun with the family on Christmas morning and day. If you like waking up everyone to open presents, get up at 5:00 to do it so you have a lot of Christ-mas Day ahead of you. Start with the stockings because their most fun to do first. What I would do to have fun is eat some good breakfast. After I open my presents, I eat breakfast. You’ll have some fun on Christmas Day opening presents. What I like to do is open the big ones first because they could be really good or sometimes not, but still open them first. Next I would do the medium presents because those can be really good, too. Then I open the small presents be-cause they are the best of the best presents to open. I’m going to tell you some of the presents I got for Christmas and these are the cool ones. First I have a 3DS which is pretty cool. Then I am going to be getting an Xbox one and Just Dance 2015. I’m also getting tablet to help me with my home-work at home. Go look at the Christmas lights around your town. Once you got all your presents open start playing with them. Here are some things to do. Have fun!

Christmas Day By Joey BucyI open presents at Christ-

mas. I eat a lot of food like peach cobbler, ginger bread, cherry pie, Apple pie, and candy cane pie. I go sled-

ding, make a snow man, and have a snow ball fight with my cousins. We play the Xbox 360 or play the Wii with my cousins. And we celebrate my cousin’s birth-day. We celebrate his birth-day because it is on Christ-mas week. We play with the toys we get from Christmas.

Isaac the Green Nose Reindeer

By Jose VegaOnce upon a time there

was a reindeer named Isaac, the green nosed reindeer. He was so lazy and not healthy. His mom, the pink nosed reindeer, was making dinner. She said, “Isaac, it’s time for dinner.”

Isaac said, “What’s for dinner? Soup?”

Mrs. Pink Nose said, “Yes, we are having vegeta-ble soup.”

Isaac whined, “NO!”Mom insisted, “YES! You

have to eat soup. Vegeta-bles are good for you. If you want to be strong enough to pull Santa’s sleigh, you bet-ter eats lots of vegetables.” She asked him, “So, do you really want to, or not?”

“Yes, I really want to be on Santa’s team,” assured Isaac.

Mrs. Pink Nose went to call her family for dinner. She called her husband, Mr. Yellow Nose. She called her oldest son, Alfred, the blue nosed reindeer. Alfred was with his little sister, the pur-ple nosed reindeer, Julia.

All the family was eating soup. Isaac was not really eating soup. He took only three little sips of soup, be-cause he really didn’t like vegetables.

Isaac went to bed. He was thinking about what his mom told him. Isaac went to his calendar and looked at the date of Christmas. He saw it was three weeks away. He said, “If I eat healthy all three weeks, I should be strong enough to pull Santa’s sleigh.”

Isaac decided to eat only healthy food for the next three weeks and to exercise for an hour every day run-ning in the field.

By the time Christmas came Isaac was as big and strong as his big brother. Santa chose him also to help

pull his sleigh.

Christmas Morning By Kayden Schnick-Elk-

enI wake up, and then I wake

my mom up. I also wake up my grandpa and grandma. We then open our gifts. Af-ter I open my gifts, I go to my dad’s house and open gifts there. It is fun and I get to see my dad on Christmas. I enjoy seeing both my mom and dad on Christmas. I also like that I get gifts. Gifts are not the best part about Christmas. The best part is getting to see your family and everyone getting along.

Buddy By Kevin Kelso 5AOnce upon a time there

was a reindeer name Bud-dy. He was one of Santa’s favorite reindeer. In fact he was Rudolph’s son. Every-body knows his nose was red but buddy’s was blue.

Elves thought he got the color because of Rudolph. It happened one Christmas night when they were given presents. Rudolph’s nose went out they couldn’t see. When it turned back on they were skidding off the wa-ter. Some water got in Ru-dolph’s nose it turned red to blue. But that’s what the elves thought why buddy’s nose was blue. But Rein-deer knew the truth. It was in the morning when they were getting ready they herd bump and thump. It was Buddy he was playing in some blue paint some of it was in his nose it started to glow light blue. Then Santa came in and he said “what’s going on in here?”. He saw buddy’s blue nose he said “Someday you will be like your dad.

Is there a Santa Clause? By Konrad BoyerThere’s been some peo-

Santa Clause and Some Tips

By MEADOW CRUICK-SHANK

Santa Clause is the best because he gives us gifts. Did you know that Santa’s birthday is on Christmas and he doesn’t give himself gifts? He gives us gifts be-cause Christmas is not all about him. He cares about us too.

Christmas is my favorite holiday because I get to be with my family. On thanks-giving I do to, but you get a lot of gifts and other things too. Do you ever get so ex-cited for what you get for Christmas? I do because I get a lot of CANDY.

Santa Claus puts gifts and toys under your tree. I heard that if you believe in Santa Clause that you well get more presents. Santa can put us on the naughty list, and you can be on the good list too. Santa has nine reindeer. Their names are Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Don-ner, and Blitzen.

Santa’s elves make the toys for us and other peo-ple. I have seen a Christ-mas movie and it was Santa Paws Two. There was a dog named Eddy, and there was an elf. His name is Eli. The dog could talk just like the other elves.

To me and my family be-lieves in Santa clause.

Christmas Miracle By Miracles Freeman 5A

While Ann and Clare sleep-ing they had a little visitor. There were sounds that creek in there room. Clare opened one eye to see a big chubby man. He had a long white beard and white hair. He was fat and he wore a red shirt and red pants and gloves. He had black boots and every time he steps on one of Clare’s toys he said ho ho ho. He had little tiny people with him.

“Who are you and what are you doing in here”, said Clare trying not to freak out. “Well I am Santa Claus and these are my elves, my dear, and my sled”, said Santa. “That’s one big sled. But Santa isn’t real and either are elves or magic deer”. Said Clare confused.

As Clare kept denying that Santa is real Ann walk into Clare room surprise as ever. “Ann does this look like Santa Claus to you or does he look like a stranger”. Said Clare.

“What on earth is going on a why is there an old man in your room”? Said Ann.

“Hello Ann, I am San-ta Claus and these are my elves”. Said Santa as calmed as possible. “I’ve heard of you before but it’s another thing to meet you”, said Ann excited.

“Ann he is tricking you for crying out loud”, said Clare trying to protect Ann. “Let me take you and Ann to the North Pole with me to prove that I am Santa Claus and these are my elves.” Said Santa.

“No you’re a stranger have ever heard stranger danger”. Said Clare. “I’ll go with you. I’ve always always wanted to meet Mrs.Claus. Let’s go now but I have to be back in time before 12:00”. Said Ann.

“Well if she’s going then I’ve no other choice but to go with but don’t think I want to”, said Clare madly.

As Clare and Ann got dress Santa got the sled ready to fly. When they reached the North Pole Santa gave a tour around. After that he let them explore. Ann went to meet Mrs. Claus and Clare went to see the workshop.

“Hi”, said Ann. “Woo you scared me who are you”, said Mrs. Claus. “I’m Ann Smith. Santa came to the child care house and he was looking for Clare and me. I don’t think Clare wanted to come but I did”, said Ann.

“She’ll love it. It’s beau-tiful outside isn’t it,” said Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Claus and Ann continued to talk as for Clare she looked around and found the naughty list. As she look for her name Santa walk in.

“May I help you”, said Santa. “Oh opps, I didn’t see you there....” Said Clare ner-vous. “Follow me miss look-er”, Santa said.

“My name is Clare and where are we going” said Clare confused. They walk in the other room. Clare was so surprised of what she saw her mouth dropped opened.

“What is that”, said Ann. “It tells me where you are and it also tells me the past and the present. Would you like to see Ann past”, said Santa.

“Such”, said Clare. As they look in on Ann

past Clare could not stand the horror Ann had to go through. Her parents were hurt so bad.

“I don’t think I can see any more of this. Can we see Ann aunt?” Questioned Clare. “Of course he you go”, said Santa. “What she doing”, said Clare?

“I believe she’s moving to a three bedroom house. She just got married a few days ago. What are you afraid that she’s taking Ann,” said Santa.

“Well I guess you can say that. It’s just when you’ve been friends for seven years it’s kind of hard to let go. Be-

sides she’ll miss me and I’ll miss her.” Said Clare sadly.

“As a friend you must in persuade her to have dreams not to tear them down. I know how difficult it is to let go but sometimes it better to let go then to hold on. You don’t want to hold on to the bad things now do you”, ask Santa.

“No, of course not I would never ever try to tear her down,” said Clare to hide what she really felt.

Santa and Clare headed back for Ann. As they walk in Ann was baking cookies and Mrs. Claus was feeding the elves.

“Well, ho ho ho. My good-ness what are you doing Ann”, said Santa in surprise. “Nothing just baking cook-ies”, said Ann.

“Well I have sorry to

break it to you but we better get going”, said Santa.

Santa took Ann and Clare home. When they got there everything was the same. They said their goodbyes and sweet dreams. The next morning Ann woke up to find that Clare was right next to her jumping on the bed. Ann pushes her off the bed and it made a big thump. Ann and Clare ran down-stairs to eat breakfast. Mrs. Berry was cooking brownies

And eggs. Mr. Berry was sending thank you cards to the lady and family who help him fix his jeep. All the oth-er kids were being called in the office and when you’re called to the office it means your being adopted. Ann and Clare were never called to the office before and they were hoping it would happen

this year. After breakfast Ann and Clare were try-ing to guess there presents. But today they were going to have to go to bed ear-ly. So when it hit 9:00 they got ready for bed. Ann and Clare said there goodnights. When they got to bed no one could figure out why they were so happy to go to bed early. But Ann and Clare new why. Clare went to her room and Ann went to hers. Hoping Santa would visit.

“Hello Ann,” said Mrs. Berry. “Oh hello what are you doing in here?” Said Ann.

“Well I already tuck in the five kids and now I’m here to tuck you in”, said Mrs. Ber-ry. “It’s hard to believe that there only five of us now”, said Ann.

“Well not really there’s only five of us till tomor-row,” said Mrs. Berry. “Who getting picked up now”, said Ann? “You. Your aunt is picking up you and Clare to-morrow morning.” Said Mrs. Berry.

“Your joking about this”, said Ann. “How about you get some sleep”, said Mrs. Berry smiling to Ann.

The next morning Clare and Ann were all ready. They said their goodbyes. When it hit 12:03 Ann’s aunt walked in with a suitcase.

“Well you plan way ahead

of me”, said her aunt. But Ann didn’t care you

ran up her aunt and gave her a kiss. Ann’s aunt took them home and had a wonderful Christmas. It was a Christ-mas miracle.

presents. She loved her stuff. She would never let her doll out of her site. Six year later she got a little brother. She hated him. She made him cry. A little later she loved her baby brother. She never wanted him out of her sight. She forgot about her Ameri-can girl doll Satie.

She found her a month later. She found her in her attic. She was so surprised she hugged her like she was going to die. She loved her so much she never let her out of her sight again.

Later in her life now she was twenty she had a boy-friend they loved each other had a house her parents vis-ited from time to time. One day her boyfriend proposed to her she screamed she said YES. A month later they got married they were so in love. A year later she had a baby boy he was so cute. Then when he was five they had a baby girl. The boy was Jon and the girl Luce. He hated her when the boy was six-teen and the girl was eleven. She was sick and he was left to take care of her because their parents were out. Jon found Satie and gave it to Luce. He took care of her and they liked each other.

The Best Christmas Ever By Shayla HembryMy best Christmas was

last year for Christmas Eve I went to my aunt’s house. We ate a lot of food. We usually have soup. My favorite kind of soup is chili. We also have mashed potatoes, gravy, and rolls. My aunts usually make cheese dip and chips. After we eat, all the kids usually go down stairs and play. Some-times we play hide and seek or tag. Sometimes we watch TV. We see if there are any Christmas moves on. The grownups usually play cards

and talk. Then we usually open presents. Last year I got a gift certificate to go get new boots. I usually get that every year. Then usual-ly around 10:00 we go home and set out cookies and milk for Santa. After that I take a shower and go to bed. On Christmas Day we get up around 6:00 and open pres-ents. Last year from Santa I got a Samsung Galaxy tab-let, and my sister got a new mattress. My other sister got a new softball bat. Then we usually take our other presents up stairs, and then we get dressed to go to my

grandmas. Then we eat a lot of food. The kids have to sit at a different table from the grownups. After we eat, we play cards and watch TV. Next we open presents then around 5:00.

We go to my aunt’s house and play with my cousins. We play the Wii then we eat. The grownups eat up stairs and the kids eat down stairs. After we eat, we play some more then around 7:30 we open presents. After we open presents, we go back down stairs and play. Then around 10:30 we go home and play with our gifts and

that was the best Christmas I have had.

Family Christmas By Spruceton Buddenha-

gen 5AHi my name is Spruceton

I am going to tell you about my Christmas. I will tell you about my family, the food, and traditions. We all meet up at my grandmas and grandpas. All my cousins, aunts and uncles go there. Then after a while we go to church. Then we all go back. When we get back we eat. After we eat we play bored games, and then we open

presents. For food we have turkey, mash potatoes, green bean casserole, and different foods that are some of my favorite foods. For desert we have pumpkin pie, monster cookies, Kringlus, and more. Now I will tell you about wintertime. In wintertime I go sledding at east Lake Park in Osceola the hill there is very big. And one time a week I go to snowboarding we go to Boone that is a long way away. My dad usually takes me snowboarding. The hills and jumps are very high last year I went with my sis-ters and my dad.
