    RET- Remote Electric Tilt

RET: mandatory for new antennas and all bands in case of dual band

antennas. In case of antennas 900 with GSM 900 configuration,

RET activation should be quoted to Phase 1. Antennas 900

configured just for UMTS 900, RET activation should be quoted in

Phase 3. One step quotation does not distinguish between phases,

so RET is quoted in the year that the antenna is installed. For newantennas RET must also be activated in the network. Introduction

and activation of RET in reused antennas should be preciated as

an optional issue, to be quoted in an alternative TCO.

    RCU-Remote Control Unit

Remote Control Units (RCU) allow operators to control the electrical tilt of

compatible antennas without direct access to the antenna.
