Rethink Run/Walk Sponsorship

April Meeting Notes:

5th Annual Rethink Addiction Run/Walk

Speaker Terry Slife, Re-Think was present to ask members to consider

being a major sponsor for the 5th Annual Rethink Addiction Run/Walk.

It is the only run that addresses addiction in the greater Fox Valley

Area. OTL sponsorship would show the community we stand together

with Rethink supporting families who have lost loved ones to addic-

tion and celebrating those who are living in recovery.

The Gold Level Sponsorship with a cost of $1300 includes: the TLW

Logo on the Rethink website, printed materials for the event, advertis-

ing, on the participant shirts, banners, goody bags and race day an-

nouncements. The league would also receive 10 free entries and em-

ployees & families of members would receive a 50% off code.

This is a 501c3 non profit organization and the sponsorship is tax de-

ductible.

Football Crazr Tickets

Crazr tickets are replacing the football mania tickets. They sell for

$20. The person who sells the ticket gets $5.00 and the TLW $15. Tick-

ets were handed out at the meeting and are available at every meeting

or through Treasurer Dave Shertz. Monies along with the ticket stubs

can be turned in at the monthly meetings.

Giving Back to the Community

Pat reported that at the Spring Convention the TLW donated $51,000

raised by members to the Vets Roll Program. This month 51 veterans

will ride to Washington DC to visit their memorials because of these

donations! Great work!

The OTL presented Don Herman a donation of $1000 towards the con-

struction and installation of ice bridges on the area lakes.

Advertising Safe Ride

Barry LaVaque asked members to match advertising in the Oshkosh

Herald for the Safe Ride Bar Bus.
