PARKINGThe garage at our Newburgh campus makes parking convenient, safe and secure. Located right on Dubois Street, the garage is connected to the hospital by an enclosed pedestrian bridge. Self-service pay stations are located on the first and third levels of the garage as well as the main lobby of the hospital. Valet parking is available at the front entrance of the hospital for a flat fee of $5 per day. The valet service is open from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Patients and visitors are encouraged to use either the parking garage or valet service.

DIRECTIONSFrom New Paltz and points North: Take I-87 South toward New York City. Use the I-84 exit, Exit 17, toward NY-300/NY-17K/Scranton/Newburgh. Merge onto I-84 East toward Danbury. Take the US-9W/NY-32 exit, Exit 10, toward Newburgh/Highland. Turn right onto North Robinson Avenue/US-9W South/NY-32. Turn left onto South Street. Take first right onto Dubois Street.

From Fort Montgomery and points South: Follow US-9W North. Turn right on Broadway/NY-32/NY-17K. Turn left on Dubois Street.

From Fishkill and points East: Merge onto I-84 West/NY-52 West toward Newburgh/Newburgh Beacon Bridge. Take the NY-32 exit, Exit 10S, toward Newburgh/US-9W S/Mount Saint Mary College. Merge onto N Plank Rd/NY-32 toward Newburgh/West Point. Turn right onto Route 9W/US-9W S/NY-32. Continue to follow US-9W S/NY-32. Turn left onto South Street. Take the 1st right onto Dubois Street.

From Middletown and points West: Merge onto I-84 East toward Newburgh. Take the US-9W/NY-32 exit, Exit 10, toward Newburgh/Highland. Turn right onto North Robinson Avenue/US-9W S/NY-32. Turn left onto South Street. Take the 1st right onto Dubois Street.

registrar who will log your com-plaint and place an ID BAND on you. Please leave this ID band on as it is how staff will iden-tify you.

• Triage- After quick registration, you will meet with a Registered Nurse (RN), either in a treat-ment bay or in Triage. The nurse will assess the potential severity of your complaint and assign a Triage Category. Often, patients who arrive after you may be seen ahead of you based on this Triage Category.

• Treatment Room/Waiting Room- You may remain in the room you were triaged in or you may be placed elsewhere in the de-partment. Please note that room changes are common, especially on the Fast Track side of the ED.

• Nursing Assessment- An (RN) will assess you further, review-ing your medical history and medications future and perform-ing a nursing examination as needed.

• Provider Assessment- A phy-sician, physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner will see you and review your complaint, medical history and current and recommend a treatment plan. This may involve any or all of the following; Education, test-ing; i.e. labs, x-rays, or other diagnostic tests, diagnosis and treatment. Once the Provider has everything they need to make a recommendation about your care, they will inform you of the complete plan.

• Leaving the ED- Our team will recommend whether you will be discharge home, kept as a hos-pitalized patient, or transferred to another hospital. You will be kept informed of our recom-mendations.
