Ortho-Bionomy ® Chapman’s Reflexes With Christina Montes de Oca Sat/Sun October 14-15, 2017 9-5:30 Chapman Reflexes Chapman’s Reflexes is a system of points identified by Osteopath Dr. Frank Chapman in the 1930’s. Chapman considered the Reflexes influential in the movement of fluids, visceral function through the nervous system. Chapman was working on a manuscript to be published, and he died before the project was complete. His papers were collected posthumously by Dr. Ada Hinckley Chapman, Dr. Charles Link and Dr. Charles Owens and published in 1937. Dr. Owens, who has called himself The Interpreter, also went on to propose an endocrine relationship via the pelvis and circulation therein following on his own practice and research into the use of the reflexes in his own practice. Ortho-Bionomy founder Dr. Arthur Lincoln Pauls found the reflexes useful and incorporated them into his teaching of Ortho-Bionomy. This class will focus on learning how to identify and use Chapman’s Neurolymphatic Reflexes for organ balancing, lymphatic drainage, endocrine and structural balance. Topics covered include: - Point identification - Releasing reflex points using Ortho-Bionomy - Helping balance the endocrine system by combining Chapman’s Reflex work with structural pelvic work. - Using Reflex points to address carpal Tunnel Syndrome - Balancing internal organs as an aid in addressing structural symptoms. - Having clients use reflex points as a self-care technique.
