A quality greenhouse in a very attractive design. Available in 2 sizes, each 1.93m (6’4”) wide, the

Orion has attractive curved eaves for optimum growing height. The two models are 1.95m (6’5”)

and 2.57m (8’5”) in length, have a smooth action single sliding door, 1 roof vent and the Vitavia

integral standard gutters.

As well as precisely cut glass, the Orion is supplied with u/v protected acrylic panels for the curved

eave sections.

Like all VITAVIA greenhouses, the Orion is constructed from anodised aluminium, ensuring clean

handling and a pristine finish. Frames are available in natural silver colour or powder-coated green

and come with fully illustrated Assembly Instructions.

Greenhouse base (optional accessory)

It is essential that every greenhouse is built on a firm and level base. Vitavia prefabricated steel

bases are available as an accessory for all Vitavia models. Matching coloured bases are available for

painted greenhouses. Using a Vitavia base will add an extra 12.5cm (5”) to the height of the

greenhouse.

Greenhouse Accessories*

A wide range of useful and labour saving accessories are included in the Vitavia Range. Shelving

and staging help make the most of the space within a greenhouse. Folding units are available, if

you want to grow taller plants. Extra roof vents and louvre side windows are also available together

with automatic openers that allow vents and louvre windows to open and close according to

temperature and down pipes can be fitted for the collection of rainwater.

Controlling the greenhouse temperature

Vitavia offers a range of equipment for measuring the temperature and humidity of the air to

enable the gardener to obtain optimum conditions for growing plants. (Cucumbers require a soil

temperature of 18°c in order to absorb water and nutrients; for tomatoes it’s 16°c)

Glazing options**

Vitavia greenhouses are available with three glazing options :-

Horticultural Glass : the traditional glazing option.

Toughened, Safety Glass : no sharp edges; ideal when young children are around. Twin - wall Polycarbonate : retains heat, diffuses sunlight and reduces risk of scorch. Safe and virtually

unbreakable.
