MOEPSl ls currently negotiating an agreement with Gulf, the offset lease holder, for Well No. 1.

MOEPSl's current r ig schedule cal ls for South Timbalier 260 No. 1 to commence dril l ing operations vith Odeco's Oceen Rover on February 10, 1985. I t l s anticipated that thc ve i l w i l l require 70 days to d r i l l and test. Water depth for the locations is approximately 305'.

The drilling operations wi l l bs supported from MOEPSl's base in Morgan City, Louisiana. No additional personnel or expansion of exleting fac i l i t i e s w i l l be required.

A comprehensive Oi l Sp i l l Contingency Plan has been previously submitted and approved by the Deputy Conservation Manager in accordance with OCS Order No. 7. MOEPSl is a member of the Clean Gulf Associates and the equipment maintained by that organization in Intercoastal City, Louisiana wi l l be available fcr this project. Deployment time ie 8 tc 10 hours.
