Dear Readers

It gives me immense pleasure to introduce the first edition of

the newsletter of the academic term 2016-1017. We intend to

make it a quarterly publication with a view to keep you in

touch with the latest developments of the school. This

academic year has begun by bringing with it new dreams, a desire to redefine our

benchmark and the determination to achieve all our set goals.

The school culture encourages the students to innovate and create an environment

which is always conducive for learning. We will continue our plans in the year ahead

that calls for the students and teachers to continually improve their technological

skills.

Linking learning to life is one of the goals of the school where we will work in concert

to connect classroom lessons with real world situations. As an educator, my burning

desire is to see my students realising the fact that by doing a great job with the small

things, great things happen. I want them to be thinkers, and communicators. I truly

believe that the students of Indirapuram Public School, with their elaborate vision

will definitely create a niche for themselves in this world.

As per the tradition of Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar the session 2016-17 commenced with the orientation

programme specially conducted to welcome new parents to the family of Indirapuram and give them insight of

functioning of the school. Parents were oriented about the system, curriculum, examination pattern &

functioning of the school. On this day Mr Kamalneet Singh, renowned person from Promise was invited to give tips

to young parents about parenting and managing sensitive issues related to children.

Orientation Programme

The Annual Investiture ceremony for session 2016-17 & Award Ceremony for session 2015-16 was held on

30th April 2016. The prefectorial board members were sworn in by the Chief Guest Ms. Sandhya Bajaj,

Chairman,Mr. Vishal Singh and Director, Mrs. Rita Singh in the presence of Principal, Mrs. Renu Sharma. Ms.

Sandhya Bajaj is a renowned Supreme Court Lawyer & former member of National Commission for Protection

of Child Rights. More than 125 students were awarded for their achievements under different categories
