Unleash the Power of Folders
How to Create Folders
Click on NEW and choose Folder. Name
your folder!
Your new folder will immediately appear in your Drive.
Add Color to Your Life
Add Some Color!
Click the arrow to the right of the folder name and choose
Change color. Select a color from the grid.
Color Code your Google folders:I've got a lot of folders, and sometimes it's hard to find a folder when you've got so many on the screen. I started color code my folders so just by looking for particular color I can find that folder.

Or...Just remenber that your file will inherit any sharing permissions you have set on the destination folder.
You can also move files by clicking once on the file to highlight it, click on the 3 buttons on the upper right side of the window, and choose Move to… Your folders will appear in a pop up window.
Moving files to multiple folders:Files can appear in multiple folders without having to copy them.
Highlight the file. Hold down Shift-Z and a pop up box with Add To will appear.
Select the second folder you want the file to appear in.
Now your file will show up in the original folder, as well asthe new folder you just selected!
