Program Chair:
Dear Conference participants,
In the name of the Conference Organizing Committee and the Faculty of
Industrial Engineering and Management of the Technion – Israel
Institute of Technology I wish to welcome you to the 2010 MSOM and
SIG conferences. Below you can find useful information to help you get
oriented. I hope that you have an enjoyable and productive conference.
Help: The most important piece information to remember is that if you
have any questions or need any help, then you should speak with one of
the conference helpers. All helpers are wearing blue shirts with the
Technion logo printed on the front.
Venue: The conferences are being held on the first and second floors of
both the Bloomfield and Cooper buildings. Counter intuitively, both first
and second floors are at ground level and the buildings are connected on
both levels.
Lecture rooms: All plenary sessions will be held in the Baltimore
Auditorium (Bloomfield first floor). Lectures will be held on the first
floor of the Bloomfield building (B-151 and B-153), the first floor of the
Cooper building (C-112) and the second floor of the Cooper building (C-
214, C-215, and C-216).
Coffee breaks and lunches: You should proceed to the Bloomfield
building during the breaks.
Wireless: Wireless access is available in all conference areas. If you
want a quieter place to work we have reserved room B-527 (fifth floor of
the Bloomfield building) for this purpose. You can also use the library
on the second floor of the Cooper building.
Rest rooms: Rest rooms are available on the first floor of the Bloomfield
building (near the auditorium), first floor of the Cooper building (near C-
112) and the second floor of the Cooper building (near C-214).
Additional rest rooms can also be found on the all the other floors of the
Bloomfield and Cooper buildings.
Sincerely,
Yale T. Herer
