Half board can be booked upon registration for 21,00.- € per day.

At lunchtime the hotel will offer a chess-snack in the tournament area.

All rooms are equipped with free W-LAN. The access to the f itness center and sauna is in-clusive.

The superior rooms are equipped with adjus-table air conditioning as well as a coffee and tea station. Superior rooms and Studios can only be booked if available (+10.- € to +30.- €/day).

ReglementSwiss system in seven rounds for teams of 5 play-ers (4 board players + optional reserve player).

Time Control: 90 min/40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move/from move one. The waiting period is 15 minutes.

TitlesThe winning team obtains the title “World Team Champion for People with Disabilities 2018”

The best women‘s team shall obtain the title “World Women Team Champion for People with Disabilities 2018” (if at least 4 women‘s teams are participa-ting).

The best junior team shall obtain the title “World Junior Team Champion for People with Disabilities 2018” (if at least 4 junior teams are participating).

Prizes1 . place Gold medal and 1.000.- €

2. place Silver medal and 650.- €

3. place Bronze medal and 400.- €

4. place Certif icate

5. place Certif icate

The team with the best difference of performance obtains a special prize in the amount of about 200.- €.

There will be additional prizes for the best players at each board (board 1 - 4 plus reserve player).

Individual prizes in team competitionsThe players who achieved the best performance rating on their respective boards shall receive gold medals. Silver and bronze medals shall be awarded to the second and third place winners. For this pur-pose the players performance score is calculated if the player takes part in at least 70% of the rounds (for basic players) or 50% of the rounds (for reserve players). The highest performance rating wins. In case of a tie it shall be broken by:

(a) mutual results (if all played each other);

(b) number of games, the highest number wins;

(c) percentage score, the highest number wins;

(d) f inal ranking of a team, the player in the highest

ranked team wins

ParticipationThe tournament will be an Open one. Teams from all FIDE federations have the right to participate. They may represent a national federation or any regional structure of a national federation. All players must come from the same federation (same FIDE identifi-cation, i.e.: GER).

Each team shall consist of four players, in addition one reserve player may be nominated. The substi-tute is only allowed to play board 4.

Junior players: age group 2000 and younger

A provisional naming of the players and the substi-tute has to be submitted together with the regis-tration of the team. Changes in the team can be made until the captains’ meeting takes place. Every player has to provide an official document confir-ming their disability.

Entry fee1) The entry fee is 50.- € per named player until 14th

August 2018.

This means a maximum of 250.- € per team.

(2) After the 14th August 2018 the entry fee is 100.- € per named player.

This means a maximum of 500.- € per team.

(3) After the 14th August 2018 the acceptance of ent-ries cannot be guaranteed.

Please await confirmation of acceptance before making travel arrangements.
