Which model is this course based on?It is based on Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis interms of theory and methodology theory
– Transactional analysis is a personality theory and a systemic psychotherapy for the growth and change of people andorganizations (ITAA-International Transactional AnalysisAssociation)
6
What is Organizational Transactional Analysis
• The organizational field of specialization is for professionals working in or for organizations, focusing on business structures and contexts to promote development and change, if needed.
The intent is to strengthen growth and increase the effectivenessand efficiency of persons acting within organizations and therefore of organizations themselves.
•
7
Why Transactional Analysis?
• Because it is a theory that allows for concurrent intrapsychic and interpsychic interpretation
– In other words, it correlates what we tell ourselves inside with
what we say to each other
– Transactional Analysis is a flexible theory that can be correlated
and integrated with other innovative approaches, such as
current lines of neuroscience research
– This is why the course has a multidisciplinary approach
