1.0 BACKGROUND

Aqua Systems is one of the leading boreholes drilling companies in Somalia. The

company was established in 2009 in Mogadishu, Somalia. It is a professionally private

managed organization. Aqua Systems is a company committed to providing quality

services with strong emphasis on ethics, quality and professional works, schedule and

cost control. Since its inception the company is credited with major projects and an

increase in its fleet of drilling machines and support units.

The organization has acquired a strong reputation in the field of regional water

resource assessment programs, rural water development and highly specialized

groundwater studies such as groundwater modeling for urban water supply schemes,

contract management for drilling projects, geo-technical studies, soil surveys,

contamination and environmental impact assessment(EIA) & audits. Many of our

projects rely on the input of local expertise, participation of the target community and

continuous training of our staff.

Aqua Systems is endowed with the latest technological equipments in the boreholes

drilling industry. We are the pioneers in Somalia and continue growing and advancing

the needs of Somali society. The organization is now a proud owner of two rotary

drilling units and one percussion rig which is ideal for re-drilling and rehabilitation

works.

established to conduct the business of boreholes drilling.

2.1 TESTING OF WATER WELLS

We carry out the following water well tests:

Water well yields tests

Water well recovery tests

Constant rate discharge tests

Water well step-down test

2.2 REHABILITATION WORK FOR ABANDONED WELLS

The following are the rehabilitation works done for abandoned wells:

Fishing for the metal objects in the well

Re -drill if the stones and sand remain in the boreholes

Flashing out the sand and debris by using air compressor or

bailing
