ORGANISING YOUR SUPERHERO DAY EVENT About this event We are asking for you and your class/organisation to dress up as their favourite superhero (princess, comic book hero or sports star) in return for a voluntary donation to Special Olympics Ireland. Things to consider: 1. Decide which day you would like to run your event on. 2. Inform children’s parents of the day/date, the purpose of the event & what you are asking them to do. You can use our handy invitation template which is printable from our webpage that you can send to parents. 3. Put a poster up in the reception area of your creche to inform as many people of possible of your event. This also acts as a good reminder to parents. The poster is available for download from our website. 4. Special Olympics Ireland can post you a donation box which can be placed at reception to make it easy for parents to make their donation. Our coordinators will be in contact with you so you can ask for one if required. 5. After your event you can lodge any donations into our bank account, details are available from the coordinator. MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN!
