For more than 160 years, Worlée has delivered raw materials from all over the world to its customers. The Hanseatic trading company has grown into an international production and service company with three units: Chemical Raw Materials, Natural Raw Materials and Cosmetic Raw Materials.

From spices and fruits to vegetables, along with herbs, tea and animal feed, as a leading producer and re-finer of dehydrated raw materials for the food indus-try, Worlée NaturProducte GmbH features an exten-sive portfolio of products from all over the world. Additionally, the product range also covers dried raw materials for animal feed.

The delivery of top quality raw materials is based on exclusive cooperative agreements between Worlée and the countries of origin. Economical and considerate hand-ling of resources and sustainable crop rotation are core elements of these projects, placing a priority on respecting local structures and living conditions at all times.

With organic, sustainably manufactured and fairly traded products, this family-run traditional company based in Hamburg (Germany) is always one step ahead of market trends.

From supporting schools in Egypt to transferring technology with Sri Lanka, Worlée takes its responsibilities very seriously and works purposefully to advance national and international sustainability pro-jects.

Organic food raw materials as specified by our customersAs a leading importer and refiner of natural raw materials, we offer top quality organic and sustainably-produced products. These are obtained from a variety of countries of origin and subsequently refined and processed in our Hamburg production facility precisely according to the specifications of our customers.

Thus, along with products that are certified according to the EU guidelines for organic farming, we also offer other organic standards such as Naturland, National Orga-nic Program (NOP), BioSuisse and Japanese Agricultural (JAS).

More and more of our fruits, herbs, teas and spices are Fairtrade or UTZ certified. In this way, we guarantee that social, ecological and economic criteria are maintained across the supply chain in order to ensure the sus-tainable development of producers in the countries of origin. Along with adherence to different environmental criteria, transparen-cy is also expected with respect to fair wa-ges and regulated working conditions.

In order to evaluate local cultivation and working conditions as well as the quality of the organic raw materials, our trained emp-loyees regularly carry out audits in the count-ries of origin. In this way, we ensure that the raw materials correspond to our quality re-quirements before they are transported to Hamburg. Furthermore, as a transparent company, we submit ourselves to intensive
