OHSU with the Knight Cardiovascular Institute has founded a new company aimed at developing a successful total artificial heart device to treat patients with end-stage heart failure. The lecture will provide an overview of the company and feature OregonHeart’s Chief Scientific Officer and renowned inventor of the Hemopump, Dr. Richard Wampler, additional company representatives, and OHSU faculty collaborators.
