MORNING WORSHIP
Prelude Music Mr Len Ryan
Welcome Mr John Ivett
Congregational Singing “Christ is Made the Sure Foundation” WESTMINSTER ABBEY
All Christ is made the sure foundation,
Christ the head and cornerstone,
Chosen of the Lord, and precious,
Binding all the Church in one,
Holy Zion’s help forever,
And her confidence alone.
All All that dedicated city,
Dearly loved of God on high,
In exultant jubilation,
Pours perpetual melody,
God the One in Three adoring,
In glad hymns eternally.
Ladies To this temple, where we call Thee,
Come, O Lord of Hosts, today;
With Thy wonted loving-kindness
Hear Thy people as they pray,
And Thy fullest benediction
Shed within its walls alway.
Men Here vouchsafe to all Thy servants
What they ask of Thee to gain,
What they gain from Thee forever
With the blessèd to retain,
And hereafter in Thy glory
Evermore with Thee to reign.
Fanfare
“Fear the LORD; serve Him in truth with all your heart, and consider what great
things He has done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24 MEV)
3
All Praise and honour to the Father,
Praise and honour to the Son,
Praise and honour to the Spirit,
Ever Three, and ever One,
Consubstantial, Co-eternal,
While unending ages run. Amen

Prayer Mr John Ivett
Congregational Singing “From Heaven You Came”
From heav’n You came, helpless babe,
Entered our world, Your glory veiled;
Not to be served, but to serve,
And give Your life that we might live.
Refrain:
This is our God, the Servant King,
He calls us now to follow Him,
To bring our lives as a daily offering
Of worship to the Servant King.
There in the garden of tears,
My heavy load He chose to bear;
His heart with sorrow was torn.
“Yet not my will but yours,” He said.
Come see His hands and His feet,
The scars that speak of sacrifice,
Hands that flung stars into space,
To cruel nails surrendered.
So let us learn how to serve,
And in our lives enthrone Him;
Each other’s needs to prefer,
For it is Christ we’re serving. GRAHAM KENDRICK

Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold and precious silver.
Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold, pure gold.

Chorus:
Refiner’s fire,
My heart’s one desire is to be holy,
Set apart for you, Lord.
I choose to be holy,
Set apart for you, my master,
Ready to do your will.
Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from within and make me holy.
Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from my sin, deep within. BRIAN DOERKSEN

“O Great God of Highest Heaven”
O great God of highest heav’n, occupy my lowly heart.
Own it all and reign supreme, conquer every rebel pow’r.
Let no vice or sin remain that resists Your holy war.
You have loved and purchased me, make me Yours for
evermore.
I was blinded by my sin, had no ears to hear Your voice,
Did not know Your love within, had no taste for heaven’s
joys.
Then Your Spirit gave me life, opened up Your Word to me
Through the gospel of Your Son, gave me endless hope and
peace.
(Interlude)
Help me now to live a life that’s dependent on Your grace.
Keep my heart and guard my soul from the evils that I face.
You are worthy to be praised with my every thought and
deed.
O great God of highest heav’n, glorify Your name through
me.
You are worthy to be praised with my every thought and
deed.
O great God of highest heav’n, glorify Your name through
me. BOB KAUFLIN

*Congregational Singing “Glorious Is Thy Name Most Holy” AUSTRIA
Glorious is Thy name, Most Holy,
God and Father of us all;
We Thy servants bow before Thee,
Strive to answer ev’ry call.
Thou with life’s great good hast blest us,
Cared for us from earliest years;
Unto Thee our thanks we render;
Thy deep love o’er-comes all fears.
For our world of need and anguish
We would lift to Thee our prayer.
Faithful stewards of Thy bounty,
May we with our brothers share.
In the name of Christ our Saviour,
Who redeems and sets us free,
Gifts we bring of heart and treasure
That our lives may worthier be.
In the midst of time we journey,
From Thy hand comes each new day;
We would use it in Thy service,
Humbly, wisely, while we may.
So to Thee, Lord and creator,
Praise and honour we accord,
Thine the earth and Thine the heavens
Now through all the eternal word. RUTH ELLIOTT

Message TENANTS & TAXES Rev Richard Kingham
*Congregational Singing “Almighty Father, Who for Us Your Son Did Give”
Almighty Father, who for us Your Son did give,
That men and nations through His precious death might live,
In mercy guard us, lest by sloth and selfish pride
We cause to stumble those for whom the Saviour died.
6
We are Your stewards; Yours our talents, wisdom, skill;
Our only glory that we may Your trust fulfil;
That we Your pleasure in our neighbours’ good pursue,
If You are working in us both to will and do.
On just and unjust You Your care do freely shower;
Make us Your children, free from greed and lust for power,
Lest human justice, yoked with man’s unequal laws,
Oppress the needy and neglect the humble cause.
Let not Your worship blind us to the claims of love;
But let Your manna lead us to the feast above,
To seek the country which by faith we now possess,
Where Christ, our treasure, reigns in peace and
righteousness. GOERGE BRADFORD CAIRD

The ministries of our Church are dependent upon the tithes and offerings of the
congregation. At this time, the COVID-19 regulations prevent us from receiving
these gifts in the normal way. As an act of worship, the Church is currently
receiving these gifts in a number of ways:-
Offerings may be placed in the envelopes received with your order of service
and placed in the boxes at the entry to the Church.
We do have an Electronic Funds Transfer Machine available after the service.
Ask for Neil Pfeffer (or, in Neil’s absence, Catherine Wooster).
Use the tear off section on the back of the order of service and place it in the
boxes at the entry.
Electronic Funds Transfer to our Church’s dedicated offering account. (Only the
Treasurer and the Church’s Auditors can “see” this account.)
BSB: 704 913 Account No: 400019634
Please continue to pray that we will be good stewards of the resources our Lord
has entrusted to us.
