Dolores’s Orange Buns ¼ c. warm water 2 beaten eggs 1 tsp. salt ¼ c. sugar ½ c. sour cream ¼ c. melted butter 3 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp. yeast I put this in a bread maker on the dough setting. When finished, roll out on the counter into a rectangle. Spread dough with butter. Filling : 1 cup brown sugar 4 Tbsp. grated orange rind Mix together and spread over buttered dough. Roll into a sausage and cut into 12 or 16. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Bake for 20 minutes in 350 oven. Glaze : ¾ c. sugar ½ c. sour cream 2 Tbsp. orange juice ¼ cup butter Boil together for 3 minutes and pour over buns as soon as they are baked. Sprinkle with coconut. Yum eat warm – that’s the best!
