2 Install ORACLE9i

Run Enterprise V5.1，，，，need Oracle edition above 9.2.0.6。。。。

If you have installed Oracle8，Pls uninstall it.

Run ORACLE installation disk1’s install\win32\setup.exe

Choose Install/Deinstall

Choose the path you want to install：





Choose the type：Custom：





Pls fold all the lists under the Oracle9i Database 9.2.0.1.0， just choose NO.1、2、3、5 to

install，the others no need to install.

It must contains the groupware as follow:Oracle9i 9.2.0.1.0Enterprise Edition option 9.2.0.1.0Oracle Net Services 9.2.0.1.0Oracle 9i development kit(ODBC driver)





Must remember: we don’t create database, so choose the“NO”：





Must choose “Perform Typical Configuration”:

Wait for the configuration finishing, Oracle9.2.0.1 has installed. But we need to installthe oracle patch, upgrade the edition to 9.2.0.6, or higher edition.

Before upgrade the oracle，，，，Pls shut off all the Enterprise software and administratortools，，，，and shut off all the service of Oracle and Enterprise in windows：：：：

Must stop all the anti-virus software.





Run the Setup in “oracle patch” folder：





About this page, it automatic show “Home1”, we need to change the installation path of patch

software，and change the “Name” textbox of ”OraHome92”，it showed like the picture as

above. If we don’t change the two, the patch can’t be installed correct.

Point “Install”, and waiting for several minutes……and then “exit”.





3 Set up database

We need to copy the file “AIRCOM_ENTERPRISE_V5.1_template.dbt” to the folder of

oracle installation path: Ora92――assistants――dbca――templates。

From the windows “start”——“all program” to run the “Database Configuration Assistant”：





Set up new database：

Choose AIRCOM ENTERPRISE V5.1 template：

Input the name of SID：





Point ” finish” is OK. It will be take a long time to set up database , Pls wait~~~

In process of setting up database ,it will be show the error of“ORA-29807: specified

operator does not exist”, Pls ”Ignore” it.

The last step , we need to input the password of “SYS” and ”SYSTEM”, the password can besetup as you like, but you must remember it ,it will be used in database configuration.

So, we finish the database set up .

4 Install ENTERPRISE

Run the “Setup.exe” in Enterprise folder.





Input the name、company、serial as follow:

Choose the “typical”

In the process of install, the software will clue on “Large Array Settings” as follow:





We need to set up the swap folder，and the maximum memory、the most percent .

Maximum memory allowed：it based on the physic memory of user’s computer, can’t be

bigger than 50%. Such as, if the physic memory is 1G，you must set the maximum memory

less than 500Mb(half of 1G),if not ,it will be show you the warning:

Initial Maximun Percentage：Make sure the initialization is bigger than200Mb。

5 Database configuration

Plug into the dongle，run the “Enterprise Administrator”：





Point “Setup “：

Choose the page of “system DSN”, and point “add”:





Choose the “Oracle in OraHome92”, and “finish”:

Write down “Data Source Name”，and choose the database SID that we have seted up in

“TNS Service Name” textbox, and then “OK”:





ENT has added to system DSN successful：

Choose the correct Data Source Name in Data Source list，input user name (system)and

the password (you have seted up before) ：





Choose the right tablespaces：

We need to set up a administrator account, pls set up the name and password:





Point “finish”, the system will start the configuration, pls waiting。

After configuration success, we will see the follow picture：
