Adding Users to Oracle Universal Content Manager

User must be in MS Active Directory Find User.

Add all rights to user from various groups created for Oracle UCM Security. There are many groups. For Example China/USA/Europe Only add all for engineering users.

Go to Global Objects in the MS Active Directory.

Go through and double check the IRM group to see if the user is within those sub groups.

Check the two sub sections of the UCM Active Directory Group.

Go to the IRM Server to insure the update job is working. IRM Server. Run job.

This section is the Oracle UCM part. Open the Oracle UCM as admin.

Select User Admin

Find Users ECN List

Type in User’s Name

Congratulations The user is now setup as an ECN
user. The user should be able to login to
the Oracle UCM without putting in password.
Be aware that this security level is for local users only.
