10:00 am – 11:00 am – Excursion in the historical part of Kolomenskoye (train for 1 hour)

• Voznesenskaya Square: the Church of the Ascension, Bell Tower, St. George Church, Vodovzvodnaya

Tower, Palace Pavilion (1825), the territory of the Palaces of the

Catherine II and Alexander I.

• Tsar’s courtyard: Front Gate Ensemble, Sytny Yard, Household

construction, the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, a petition pillar,

Spassky Gate, Peter the Grate’s House.

• The Church of Beheading of St. John the Forerunner (1560-1570): one of the few

reserved monuments of Russian architecture of the XVI century.

11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Excursion to the Palace of the Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, XVII century (female and male half).

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm – Lunch in the Trapeznaya - in the Red (Tsarist) Hall of the Palace of the Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich.

2:15 pm - 3:15 pm - Excursion to St. Basil's Cathedral
