Navigate Gray Areas of Identifying, Advising, Reporting, Proving and Disproving AllegationsWhether you’re a family law practitioner or school professional, navigating the complex and intertwined areas of alienation, abuse and neglect can be daunting. If a parent-child bond is deteriorating, could parental alienation be at play or are there other reasons? When are unusual parenting styles and discipline appropriate, and when do they rise to the level of child abuse? Abuse can leave children physically and emotionally scarred, yet false allegations can cause significant harm to both child and guardian. Knowing how to draw a line and tactfully navigate these sensitive situations is essential to balancing the child’s best interests and rights with parents’ legal and constitutional rights. In this seminar, join attorneys and mental health professionals as they show you how to identify mistreatment and work with child protective agencies or the courts to ensure the best resolution. Enhance your knowledge - register today!
