OPTION 1: THE TEES VIADUCT CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT OPTION

■ New low level two-lane bridge built parallel to the existing A19 viaduct to carry traffic travelling northbound from the A66

■ Existing viaduct structure widened to provide an additional lane for A19 southbound traffic

■ Existing connections between the A19 and the A66 simplified. New links provided to accommodate all traffic movements
