DESCRIPTION

One of the factors Google uses to determine your search ranking is the number of inbound links your site has from good quality websites. Originally, the fastest and easiest way to improve your Google search ranking was to buy as many inbound links (links from other sites to your own) from sites set up purely for this purpose. This resulted in poor quality websites having a higher search ranking than those with better quality, original content. To combat this practice, Google released the Penguin algorithm. Penquin penalises websites with poor inbound links. http://www.optimised.today/blog/why-buying-backlinks-is-bad-for-business
