SHOP OVERVIEW

The opticians focuses on the relationship between the

optometrists and the clients. Unlike other opticians the

consumers have no access to the range of glasses on

display and are styled in a format similar to a personal

shopper. The aesthetic of the store interior is similar to a

bar, with surfaces covered in suede and leather. From

the exterior the space appears ambiguous, showing only a

hint of the intended use through a fogged glass facade.

The clients sit at a bar constructed clad in black suede and

trimmed with black leather. The bar counter is made from

grey corian, with a recessed groove housing a personal hand

held mirror. LED rope lights are concealed under the corian

top.
