Oval flood freely rotatableThe oval flood Spherolit lens can befreely rotated with round luminaireheads to optimally match thelighting to various objects.

Contour spotlightsFraming attachments enable asharply defined light beam. In thisway fascinating effects can becreated with contour spotlights,where crisply illuminated picturesappear to illuminate from within.

Zoom spotlightsThe light beam diameter can beinfinitely adjusted from spot (15°)to wide flood (65°) by simply turn-ing the lens. Zoom spotlights areparticularly suitable for illuminat-ing areas with changing exhibitsand merchandise.

Coloured lightUsing coloured light, the envir-onment can be designed andtransformed with either subtleor dramatic contrasts. LEDs enableyou to generate coloured light veryefficiently and flexibly.

Very good price performance ratioThe entry-level products offer anattractive price/performance ratiofor lighting design tasks especiallyoriented towards cost-effective-ness. The luminaires of course meethigh levels of energy efficiency andthe basic requirements for visualcomfort.

AccentuationOptec spotlights accentuate art-work, products and architecturaldetails effectively. The ideal angleof tilt (y) for this is around 30°.The object is modelled withoutdistorting the effect as a resultof excessive shadowing. It alsoprevents shadows cast by theobserver.

Zoom spotlightsZoom spot, Zoom oval

AccentuationZoom spotlights feature a continu-ously adjustable beam angle. Withthe spot to wide flood zoom range,smaller works of art can be accen-tuated effectively at an inclinationangle (y) of approximately 30°.The oval zoom is suitable for linearworks of art. The object is modelledwithout distorting the effect as aresult of excessive shadowing. Italso prevents shadows cast by theobserver.


Contour spotlights ProjectionSpotlights with framing attach-ments enable freely settable, crisp-edged light beams. As a result fas-cinating effects can be createdwhere pictures appear to illuminatefrom within. The ideal angle of tilt(y) is 30°.

WallwashingFor uniform vertical illuminance,the distance (a) of Optec lens wall-washers from the wall should bearound one third of the roomheight (h). This results in an angleof tilt (y) of approx. 35°.

Arrangement: a = 1/3 x h ory = 35°

For good longitudinal uniformity,the spacing (d) of Optec lens wall-washers may be up to 1.2 times theoffset from the wall (a).

Arrangement: d ≤ 1.2 x a
