Appendix
USRowing reserves the right to make the final decision about sponsored content and advertisements to its membership.
Content should include elements of rowing and relevance to the rowing community. Without such, content may be deemed inadmissible for posting.
Final content should be submitted to USRowing 48 hours in advance of the scheduled go-live time.
Content Review Process

The publisher reserves the right to edit or reject any or all advertising copy submitted for publication. b. The Independent Rowing News, Inc. assumes no responsibility, financial or otherwise, for typographical errors or omission of copy . c. Position and placement of advertisements will be at the editors’ discretion. No refunds or re-runs will be made because of the position in which an advertisement appears. No orders will be accepted on a “position or omit” basis. d. The word “Advertisement” will be printed at the top of an advertisement simulating reading matter to indicate paid advertising. e. Advertisements will not be printed in an upside-down or sideways position. f. The publisher reserves the right to revise advertising rates at any time. g. Cancellation of an advertisement is not allowed after deadline. Advertisers will be short-rated if they do not use the number of insertions upon which their rate has been based. h. All advertising copy not received by the deadline date permit publisher to repeat the last published ad. i. Any production work, art, photographic, typesetting, or other developmental charges are not included in advertising rates and will be billed at $80 per hour ($80 minimum) and will be billed in addition to space charges. j. The publisher is not responsible, in whole or in part, for any expenses, costs, judgments, or liabilities incurred for libel, privacy violations, plagiarism, copyright infringement, or any other claims or suits based upon the content of any advertisement. k. Advertising material will be returned upon request only. Mailing instructions should accompany ad materials. l. The publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery in the event of strikes whether legal or illegal, fire, labor, material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown, or any condition beyond the control of the publisher affecting production or delivery in any manner. m. New advertisers must supply credit card info. n. Pre-payment discount available only for quarterly clients o. Non-PDF or TIFF files will be charged for production work at a rate of $80 an hour, minimum charge will be 1 hour. p. Credit card will be charged on any accounts outstanding 30 days after deadline.
