CBM PRAYERLINE
CANADA CBM is pleased to announce that Rev. Randy Stanton has been appointed to the role of Atlantic Canada Representative, connecting CBM and the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches. Randy has been serving as the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in New Glasgow, NS since 2011. Beginning September 14, 2015, Randy will be based in New Glas-gow but it is anticipated that he and his wife Heather will move to Moncton within the next year, where CBM’s Atlantic office will be located. Please pray for Randy and Heather as they start their new roles.
LEBANON Please pray for the Botros family, who left Canada last week to begin their work with the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) in Lebanon. Emad and Almess were appointed by CBM in Jan. 2015 to serve at the ABTS, where Emad will serve as a lecturer in the areas of Old Testament and Islamic studies, and Almess will be exploring opportunities to work with Iraqi and Syrian refugees. Pray for their transition and adjustment along with their two boys Timothy & Nathaniel.
ATLANTIC CANADA This past week at Acadia University in
Wolfville, NS, CBM’s denominational
partner (CABC), will hosted their annual
Oasis assembly. With worship, seminars,
speakers and events for children and
youth, it was an event for the whole fami-
ly. Please pray for all who attended that it
was a time of connection, spiritual re-
freshment and fellowship.
