• Aug 4th: Transportation Mailers (post cards) mailed during the week
of August 5th
• Aug 6th: Annual Transportation liaison information sessions
• Aug 13th: Annual training day Bus Operators
• Aug 14th: Bus driver “dry-runs” of assigned routes
• Aug 15th: Customer Service training
• Aug 16-17th: Annual Transportation Open Houses
Provided school staff with emergency contact information to assist with questions and concerns

Referral Form and Procedures
• School bus transportation is an extension of the
classroom and therefore student behavior expectations
are same.
• Our primary focus is to provide safe and timely
transportation to all Broward County eligible students.

• Students will receive mailers with complete
bus transportation information prior to the start
of the school year.
• Student safety is priority.
• Students are expected to arrive to their
assigned bus stop 10 minutes prior to
schedule pick up window.

• Trip times are between 9:30am and 1:30pm
• After-school activities (e.g.: after care, science clubs, etc.) hours are 4:30pm until the event ends
• Bus capacity ranges from 65 to 85 passengers
• Indicate the need for non-standard equipment
– must be part of IEP(i.e.: safety vest, wheelchair, seat belt)
