On March 21, 2020 in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Operaon Care Internaonal (OCI) went to their warehouse in Oak Cliff, Texas and loaded up on many things that were in short supply on the shelves in grocery stores. Hand sanizers, disinfecng wipes, gloves, masks, and boled water were given to our friends at the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) and another ministry in south Dallas. Seeing early on the great need of the homeless, we went back to the warehouse on April 11th and gave out more supplies to four shelters. As the need connued to be great and the shelters needed more, it was apparent we needed to bridge the gap and become a kingdom-minded fulfillment center. This is why we are launching the OCI Joseph Storehouse, with the goal of providing supplies monthly to more north Texas Dallas shelters unl this pandemic passes. Susie Jennings, who is the founder of Operaon Care Internaonal, compared this to the story of Joseph having a surplus during the famine in Egypt. Susie said, "God blessed us with an abundance of items like masks, gloves, hand sanizers, disinfecng wipes and boled water. We also gave away personal care products, socks, bibles, and lots of love! Being a nurse, I realized the Personal Protecve Equipment (PPEs) are all going to the medical community. The hospitals and medical front liners desperately need them but so do our homeless friends in the shelters. The Lord spoke to my heart to fill this gap and lead the way by providing the much needed PPEs to our friends at the shelters. "Union Gospel Mission thanks OCI for supplying the much needed PPE like masks, gloves, hand sanizers and wipes. It aids in keeping our homeless free from the virus." said UGM President Bruce Butler. ONEDAY2020 Director Mike Tirone said, "We saw the need and met it in March. When we gave away the supplies, God started to replenish them. I knew we had to keep giving them away because our shelters needed them. I love how our volunteers have jumped in to help as well." It's been contagious generosity! First, one of our volunteers is Gabriella, a widow who wanted to help, so she made masks that we gave to the homeless and to the shelters. Gabriella is helping save lives! Susie added "Our community heard about this vision and joined us. We are a small army of volunteers helping to make this Joseph Storehouse a success. Recently, the internaonal community who live in Dallas from India, Brazil, Hong Kong, Peru, and Malaysia are involved as well. Together our community is stronger." "Our next outreach is Friday, May 22,” Susie reported. We didn't have this in our annual budget, and we are doing it all by faith. This month the Lord tripled the number of shelters that we are supporng. Your financial support is vitally important to help keep the shelters free of the virus and save lives. On March 21, 2020 in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Operation Care International (OCI) went

to their warehouse in Oak Cliff, Texas and loaded up on many things that were in short supply on the

shelves in grocery stores. Hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, gloves, masks, and bottled water were given

to our friends at the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) and another ministry in south Dallas.

Seeing early on the great need of the homeless, we went back to the warehouse on April 11th and gave

out more supplies to four shelters. As the need continued to be great and the shelters needed more, it

was apparent we needed to bridge the gap and become a kingdom-minded fulfillment center. This is why

we are launching the OCI Joseph Storehouse, with the goal of providing supplies monthly to more north

Texas Dallas shelters until this pandemic passes.

Susie Jennings, who is the founder of Operation Care International, compared this to the story of Joseph

having a surplus during the famine in Egypt. Susie said, "God blessed us with an abundance of items like

masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes and bottled water. We also gave away personal care

products, socks, bibles, and lots of love! Being a nurse, I realized the Personal Protective Equipment

(PPE’s) are all going to the medical community. The hospitals and medical front liners desperately need

them but so do our homeless friends in the shelters. The Lord spoke to my heart to fill this gap and lead

the way by providing the much needed PPE’s to our friends at the shelters.”

"Union Gospel Mission thanks OCI for supplying the much needed PPE like masks, gloves, hand sanitizers

and wipes. It aids in keeping our homeless free from the virus." said UGM President Bruce Butler.

ONEDAY2020 Director Mike Tirone said, "We saw the need and met it in March. When we gave away the

supplies, God started to replenish them. I knew we had to keep giving them away because our shelters
