Intended useThe product is used to monitor and protect blind or critical areas (such as entrances, courtyard entrances, underground garages, staircases).The camera is only intended to be used with a stabilised direct current of 12 V/DC.The product is designed for operation indoors and outdoors (IP66).The video and image data are transmitted to your smartphone or tablet via WLAN or LAN. Alternatively, these can also be stored directly on a micro SD card (not included in delivery, can be ordered separately, up to 128 GB).The operation or programming is done via the app “IP PRO3”. This can be installed on an AndroidTM-smartphone or tablet or an iPhone or iPad.For the use, a free account is necessary. It must be created during the initial setup of the app.There are built-in infrared LEDs for shooting in the dark.Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their knowledge and consent. Always observe the rules and regulations of the country where you use the camera.Please observe the safety instructions at all times!For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. 5. Safety instructionsRead the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not follow the safety information and information on proper handling in these op-erating instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal in-jury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.• The surveillance camera is only intended to be used with a stabilised direct current

of 12 V/DC. The inner contact of the round low-voltage plug should be plus/+, the outer contact minus/-.

• The device is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a

dangerous plaything for children.• The product is designed for operation indoors and outdoors (IP66). However, it must

never be used in or under water, as this may destroy the interior components.• The connector plugs on the surveillance camera's connection cable are not wa-

terproof or watertight and must therefore be placed in a dry indoor area or be protected accordingly.

• Ensure that the connection cable does not get pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.

• Protecttheproductfromextremetemperatures,directsunlight,strongjolts,flam-mable gases, vapours and solvents.

• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the product.

• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.• Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any other

devices which are connected to the product.• The IR light is invisible to the human eye. It is therefore not possible to tell whether

an IR LED is on or not. Due to the intensity of the in-built IR LEDs, there is a risk of damage to the eye if you look at it from a short distance (<2 m).Attention: IR LED light! Do not look directly into the IR LED light! Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!

• The use of this surveillance camera does not replace the personal supervision of children or people with special needs but serves onlyto support this supervision.

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product: - is visibly damaged, - is no longer working properly, - has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or - has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.

• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment when using the product in commercial facilities.

• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the appliance.

7. Installation and start-upThe camera can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has the degree of protection IP66, i.e. it can also be mounted outdoors without protection against the weather.Nevertheless, we recommend that you install the camera in a protected place as far as possible.

a) Mounting the cameraAs a rule, the wall bracket is disconnected from the camera during the delivery. If this is not the case, loosen the two set screws of the wall bracket, which are located directly on the camera, and pull the wall bracket away from the camera.Nowmountthewallbracketfirst.• Ifdowelsarerequiredtofixthewallbrackettoyourwall(dependingonthecondition),mark

the exact position of the mounting holes through the holes in the wall bracket. Mount the camera only on a stable surface, but not on metal surfaces or near other

electrical/electronic devices. When drilling mounting holes or screwing into place, ensure that no existing cables or

pipes are damaged. Select the installation site so that it is protected against attempts to tamper with the

surveillance camera. For this reason, the surveillance camera should be mounted at a minimum height of 2.5 m.

• If necessary, insert the dowels into the mounting holes.• Take the black sponge out of the box, remove the

yellow protective foil and stick it in the holder as shown in the picture.The side recess in the sponge must be aligned so that it faces one of the two recesses (for the cable) in the wall bracket. Depending on which side you want to lead out the cable.

• The small, round part of the sponge is not needed.

• Attach the wall bracket with the enclosed screws.Tighten the two screws on the side where you pulled the cable out, so that the cable is still movable for you to push it.Also pay attention to the mounting direction. The cable should preferably be led out down-wards.If you later want to change the inclination in a different direction, simply loosen the two set-screws directly on the wall bracket and on the camera, then you can rotate the joint as you like.

• Beforeattachingthecamera,firstattachtheWLANantenna(A1) to the corresponding con-nector on the back of the camera.

• Push the cable through the wall bracket until you can insert the camera.• Insert the camera and secure it with the two set screws of the wall bracket, which are located

directly on the camera.Direct the camera so that the light sensor (A4) is down.

• Finally, tighten the two remaining screws of the wall bracket. Make sure that the connecting cable is clean in one of the two recesses and not

squeezed from the edge of the holder. Warning! The plug connections of the camera are not waterproof!

If you cannot pass the camera's connectors through the wall and connect them in the protected indoor area, you must protect the outdoor connections against moisture.

You can do this, for example, through a connection box. Depending on where the camera is mounted, this connection box must be suitable for outdoor installation.

The cable connection for the network or the power supply can then be placed in the connection box. Incidentally, the network connection must also be protected against moisture even when not in use!

Also make sure that, in this case, the power adapter, AC adapter cable and network cable are suitable for outdoor use.

Lay the cables so that they are protected against manipulation, for example in a cable duct, a pipe or similar.

For a better mechanical connection at the network connection, you can use a cable with “RJ45 M16” plug.

b) Inserting the SD card If you want to save pictures taken with the camera on an SD card, insert them before

proceeding with the commissioning. Ifyouwanttoinsertorchangethecardlater,besuretofirstdisconnectthepowerto

the camera, otherwise the SD card and the camera may be damaged!• Unscrew the two screws of the SD card slot cover (A8) and remove the cover along with

the gasket.• InserttheSDcard(withthecontactsfirst) intotheSDcardslot(A10) until the card snaps

into place.The SD card must be aligned so that the contacts point away from the camera lens and towards the connection cable of the camera.

• Remount the SD card slot cover (A8) along with the gasket and secure the cover with both screws.

IfyouwanttoremovetheSDcard,firstpressthecardsothatitejectsmechanically.Then pull the card out of the card slot (A10).

c) Installing the camera• Ifyoualsowanttooperatethecameraviaanetworkcable,firstconnectthenetworkcableto

the RJ45 socket of the camera (A6).• The other side of the cable connects to your router or network switch.• Then connect the low-voltage plug of your mains adapter (DC voltage, 12 V/DC) to the power

supply socket (A5) of the camera. The connection requires a suitable round plug with the outer diameter 5.5 mm, and inner diameter 2.1 mm. The outer contact of the round plug should be Minus/“-”, the inner contact Plus/“+”.

Improper connection or connecting to the wrong voltage may damage the camera; loss of warranty!

If you install and use the camera in outdoor areas, the two connectors must be placed in a location that is protected from moisture. Please note the previous subchapter. If this is not observed, the connectors will corrode!

• Plug your power adapter into a power outlet. The IR LEDs of the surveillance camera are automatically activated at night. However,

the IR light is not visible to the human eye. Note that at night the image is not displayed in colour but in black and white.

8. Setting up the app These instructions refer to a smartphone. But this always means an AndroidTM smart-

phone or tablet or iPhone or iPad.

a) Installing the app• Open the respective App Store on your smartphone. For example, it

is “Google Play Store” for Android™. If you're using an Apple device, open Apple's “iTunes Store”.

• Search for the app “IP PRO3” (light blue background with cloud symbol) and install it.

• Alternatively, scan the QR code on this page. You will be directed to the page of the appropriate store. The QR-code works on AndroidTM and iOS devices.

Please note that the following instructions may change for future app versions.

b) Configuring the app and creating an account• Open the previously installed “IP PRO3”.• If you have not yet created an account, tap the “Register”

button.If you have already created an account, skip the registration and continue with the fourth image.

• Enter the e-mail address with which you want to register. It will automatically become your username.

• Tap the blue button to register.• Anautomatice-mailmessagewithaverificationcodewill

besenttothee-mailaddressyouhavespecified. If you do not receive this e-mail message within

a few minutes, please check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox.

• Entertheverificationcodeinthetopfield.• Then enter a secure password twice. We recommend

a password with at least 8 characters, consisting of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers and special characters.

• Tap the blue button to complete the registration. The settings are only saved in the cloud when the

registration is completed.• Normally, you will be automatically logged in after the

registration. If this is not the case, tap the arrow in the top left corner to return to the home page and log in.

• Enter your e-mail address and the assigned password here.

• Then tap the blue button to log in.

• After you have logged in, the app’ s home page will be displayed.-

Resetting the password• If you have forgotten your password, tap the “Forget

password?”buttonontheloginpage(firstimageofthischapter).

• Enter your e-mail address again and tap the blue button.• Then follow the instructions.

9. Setting up the camera in the appa) Setting up via network

For the following description, the camera must be connected to your router/network switch via a network cable. In addition, a DHCP server must be active in your network. ThestatusLEDmustflashslowly.

Ifyouhavealreadysetupthecamera,resetittothefactorysettingsfirstorgotothedescription in chapter “9. e) Adding an already set up camera in the app”.

• Tap “+” on the app’s home page.

• Tap “LAN scan”.

• The app will search for new devices.• When the camera has been found, it will be displayed

again with its ID number (see arrow). The same number is also printed on the camera.

• Tap it.

• Enter a name for the camera. You do not need to enter a password during

initial setup. The “Password”fieldmustthereforeremain empty.

• Then tap on the button in the top right corner (upper arrow in the picture).

• Once the settings are saved, the camera will now also be displayed on the home page of the app.

• Now assign a password to the camera to protect it from unauthorised access.

• For this purpose, tap the “Setup” button of the corre-sponding camera.

• Scroll down in the device settings and tap the “Password”button.

You can also change the password of the camera later.

• Nowenterasecurepasswordinthetopfield.The password should contain at least eight characters and consist of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers and special characters.

• Then tap the red button below.

• So the camera is basically set up and online. Please note! Because there is no Wi-Fi is set

up in this case, the camera’s status LED will continuetoflashslowlyafterthesetup.

In addition, the Wi-Fi hotspot integrated in the camera is still active. However, external access is not possible because the camera setup via the hotspot is blocked when the camera has an access password assigned to it.

Nevertheless, we recommend that you also connect the camera to your Wi-Fi.

• To do this, tap the “Setup” button again.

• Scroll down in the device settings and tap the last button.

• Select your Wi-Fi from the list for it to be used. • Tap the button on the top right to continue.

• Now enter the password for your Wi-Fi.• Then tap the blue button below to save the Wi-Fi.

• The camera is now set up and online.

b) Setting up via WLAN For the following description, no network cable should be connected to the camera. In

addition, the camera must be in APP mode (status LED (A7)flashesslowly). Ifyouhavealreadysetupthecamera,resetittothefactorysettingsfirstorgotothe

description in chapter “9. e) Adding an already set up camera in the app”. If youwant tosetup thecameraonApple iOS,youmustfirstconnectyourApple

device to the camera’s Wi-Fi network before starting setup. The Wi-Fi name is “IPC…” and the password is “11111111”.

• Tap “+” on the app’s home page..

• Then tap “WIFI camera”, to set the camera as a Wi-Fi camera.

• Ensure that the camera’s status LED is flashing slowlyand then tap “YES”.

• The app is now looking for new devices. • If the camera is found, it will be displayed with its ID

number (see arrow). The same number is also printed on the camera.Tap it.

• Now your WLAN, to which the camera should connect, will be selected.

Please note! The list below shows only 2.4 GHz WLAN networks. 5 GHz WLAN networks are not supported by the camera.

• Select your WLAN at the bottom of the list and tap it.The selected Wi-Fi will automatically appear in the top field.

• Now enter the password for your Wi-Fi network.• Tap the “Next” button on the top right.

• Now the WLAN settings are transferred to the camera. Warning! To do this, the app automatically

connects your smartphone to the camera’s WLAN network. After the configuration, theconnection to your normal WLAN is automatically re-established.

If during the configuration your smartphonedisplays a message indicating that there is no Internet connection and prompting you to connect to another WLAN network, please decline!

• Now assign a password to the camera to protect it from unauthorised access.

Warning! If the counter in the button is set to 0, the camera will be saved without a password.

You can also do this later in settings. After completing the setup, tap the three dots and then tap “Edit”. Here, you can assign and save the password.

• Now enter a secure password.The password should contain at least eight characters and consist of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers and special characters.

• Tap the button at the bottom of the pop-up window to save and continue.

• Now enter a name for the camera. • Tap the button on the top right to continue..

• Now, the camera is basically set up and online.

c) Alternative method for setting up the camera For the following description, the same conditions apply as in the previous chapter “9.

b) Setting up via WLAN”.• Open your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings and connect it to

the camera’s Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi name is “IPC…” and the password is “11111111”.

• First tap “+” on the top right of the app’s home page and then tap “Scan”.

• Scan the bar code on the camera with your smartphone.

• Enter a name for the camera. You do not need to enter a password during

initial setup. The “Password”fieldmustthereforeremain empty.

• Then tap on the button in the top right corner (upper arrow in the picture).

“9. a) LAN setup”.• Assign a secure password to the camera and connect

d) Removing the set up camera from the appTo remove a camera from the app, follow the steps below. Besides, it does not matter if the cameraisonlineoroffline.• In the app, tap the 3 points near the camera you want

to remove.

• This opens a menu window. Tap the “Delete” button here.

• Now the camera is removed from the app. To add the camera later, please refer to the

following chapter.

e) Adding an already set up camera in the appTo add a camera that is already set up in the app, follow the steps below• Tap “+” on the app’s home page.

• Tap “LAN scan”.

• Enter a name for the camera. Incidentally, this does not have to be the name you assigned during the initial setup.

• Then enter the password of the camera that you assigned during the initial setup (lower arrow in the image).

• Then tap on the button in the top right corner (upper arrow in the picture).

10. Advanced settingsa) App and account settings• To open the app and account settings, tap the “My center” button on the bottom right of the

app’s home page. Right arrow near your e-mail address

Here, you can manage your account, log out and change the password to your account.

“Screenshot/Recording”Here you can see all manually captured images and videos.

“Backup video”Here you can download and save videos from the camera.

“Alarm message”Here you can switch the notification function of theapp on and off. Tap the button and switch on the push function.Here you can also view the alarm messages.

“Setup”In this menu item, you can change all other general settings for the app. For example, you can enable or disable the “Shake” function, adjust the app’s behaviour if the smartphone has only one mobile connection, etc.

“Device share management”Here you can edit all settings related to sharing a device.

“Help”Includes a quick guide and aids for the app.

“Version x.x.x”

• To exit this settings page and switch to the home page, tap “My device” on the bottom left.

b) Camera settings• To open the settings, tap the 3 dots near the desired

camera in the app.

“Screenshot/Recording”Here you can view and manage manually captured images and videos.

“Edit”Here you can change the name of the camera. No username or password is required for this. Use the button on the top right to save the changes.In addition, you can also enter the username and password here if the wrong password message appears on the display near the camera.

“Delete”Use this button to delete the camera from the app.

• To open the device settings of the camera, tap “Setup”.

“Audio frequency”Switches the audio function of the device (if supported) on or off.

“Voice prompt”Switches the language assistant of the device (if supported) on or off.

“Voice prompt language”Here you can set the language for the language assistant.

“Definition”Here you can set the resolution or quality.

“Mode”Here you set the colour character for the picture shots.

“Time sync”Tap the button to manually synchronise the time of your smartphone with the camera.

“Choose time zone” Here you can set the correct time zone.

“Daylight Saving Time”Here you can enable the summer time manually.

“Motion detection alarm”Hereyoucanturnthealarmnotificationsforthecameraon or off.

“Motion detection recording”Here you can switch on or off the automatic recording for motion detection.

“Motion detection sensitivity”Here you can set different sensitivity levels for motion detection.

“Motion detection tone”Inthismenuitem,youcanswitchthesoundnotificationintheeventofmotiondetectiononor off.

“Time video”This switch allows you to switch the timed recording on or off.

“Recording schedule”In this menu item, you can create a schedule for the time-controlled recording.

“Mode selection”Here you can choose between the home and away modes.

“Device info” Here you can view information about the device.

“Firmware update”This button allows checking if a new version of the camerafirmwareisavailable.Ifso,youcanalsoupdateit here.

“Help”Includes a quick guide and aids for the app.

“Device storage”This menu item shows the status of the inserted SD card and the available memory. Here, you can also format the inserted SD card. Warning! This will erase all data on the SD card!

“Password” Here you can change the password of the camera. Just enteranew,securepasswordinthefield.Ifyouwanttosave the password, tap the arrow on the top left.

“Euipment WIFI”Here you can adjust the Wi-Fi settings of the camera manually.

For the changes to be saved, you have to tap on the tick mark in the upper right corner tofinish.

d) Functions and operation in Play modeThe following requirements must be met for that the camera records automatically and to allow you to view the pictures on your smartphone later:• Make sure that the camera is already time-synchronised. You will find the “Time sync”

function in the camera settings.• A memory card must be inserted in the camera.• You must already have schedules created or motion detection must be active. The menu item

for the adjustment of the recording schedule “Recording schedule” and motion detection “Motion detection recording” can also be found in the camera settings.

Operation• As soon as you switch to the playback mode with the C13button,theplaybackofthefirst

recording of the current day starts automatically.To pause playback, simply tap the red vertical bar on the timeline. To resume playback, tap the play button in the camera image.

• If you touch the timeline area in your display with one finger, you can select the desiredrecording time of the current day by swiping left or right.Ifyoutouchthetimelineareainyourdisplaywithtwofingersandpullyourfingersapart,thearea of the timeline will shrink, i.e. a smaller time interval will be displayed.

• Ifyoucontractthetwofingers,theareaofthetimelinewillbecomelarger,i.e.alongertimeinterval will be displayed.

• To select a different day, tap the D2 button on the top right.• Select the desired date here in the calendar.

Thenconfirmwith“OK”.

12. TroubleshootingWith this camera, you have purchased a reliable product that was built according to state of the art. However, problems and malfunctions may still occur. Therefore, we would like to describe here how you can solve the possible problems.If the device is added via LAN or serial number, a warning is issued, the device is not online or the device is not registered.• Please make sure that your router to which the camera is connected is really connected to

the internet.• In addition, your router must have a DHCP server and, of course, this must be activated.• If you have manually changed the network settings of the camera or your router, it is best to

resetthecameratofactorysettingsandthenreconfigureit.The device is online and there are also movements in the surveillance area, but you will not receive any alarm information on your smartphone.• Please make sure that the app is running on the smartphone, the camera is online and the

motion detection feature is enabled.IfyouareusinganAppledevice,pleaseopenthe“Notifications”featureintheiOSsettings.

There are problems or error messages in the app, e.g. a camera cannot be deleted and/or an error message is displayed.• First close the app and restart it. If the problem persists, log in with your account in the app

on your smartphone (Logout) and then log in again (Login).When inserting the memory card, a “Memory Card Error” error message appears.• ThecameraonlysupportstheFAT32filesystem.Ifthecardisformattedwith,forexample,

NTFS,reformatit.Youwillfindthe“Format” function in the camera settings.• The size of the memory card may not exceed max. 128 GB!• The memory card may be damaged. Reformat or replace if necessary.

Why does not the camera record consistently?• Due to the limited life of memory cards, the video recording of the camera has been limited. It

will only be recorded on motion detection or if you manually trigger the recording.Does the camera support a USB power supply for the power supply?• No, a USB power supply is not supported. To ensure the stable operation of the camera,

pleaseuseasufficientlydimensionedpowersupply.The performance data that the power supply must at least offer can be found in chapter “17. Technical data”.

13. Resetting factory settings• Connect the camera to the power supply and wait for at least 45 seconds until the startup

process is complete. The status LED (A7)shouldbelitorflashing.• Press and hold the reset button (A9) for at least 10 seconds.

After 10 seconds or at the latest when the camera makes a “click”, release the button.• Wait approx. 15 seconds until the status LED (A7)flashesslowlyagain.Thenthecamerais

reset to the factory settings. If you have not already done so, remove the camera from your app.

14. Care and cleaning Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as

these can damage the casing or even impair the function.• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.• Never direct a stream of water from a garden hose or a high-pressure cleaner onto the sur-

veillance camera.

15. Disposal This product must not be placed in household waste!

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
