Work Group Activities

● Telecommunications Work Group

WECC criteria on synchronizing high-speed digital circuits was posted (WECC-0066) for 45 day posting closed on 6/29/2010.

● Control Work Group

Version 2 of the WECC standard on voltage and reactive control (WECC-046) was posted for 30 day review closed 6/7/2010.

Version 2 of a WECC criteria for black start unit testing (WECC-049) was posted for 30 day review and will close on 7/12/2010. Includes expanded scope and draft comments.

Version 2 of WECC procedure for reporting relay misoperations (WECC -0059) was posted for 30 day comment period and closed on 6/8/2010. Included comments from draft posting.

● Substation Work Group

The annual SWG meeting was held in Scottdale, AZ on May 3-5.
