Opening Sequence Analysis- The Conversation      

.      The music used may indicate the time period in which the film is set.

·      The focus point of the camera is unclear at first: it appears to be zooming in on nothing in particular. It then focuses on a character: A street performer.  The camera then follows him as he entertains a member of the public. The camera then follows this member of the public.

·      At the end of the opening credits, A sniper is shown. This, along with the way in which the camera follows the character, may indicate the characters fate.
