Conducted by Dr. Geoffrey Spratt. Soloists: Mary Hegarty, Bridget Knowles, Robin Tritschler and Owen Gilhooly. Concert also features Band of 1st Southern Brigade.
The Festival opens with an evocative performance of Michael Tippett’s renowned oratorio A Child of Our Time, one of the composer’s most moving and important works.
