1.0 OPENING COMMENTS

1.1 Call to Order / Quorum Check

The Composites (COMP), Non Metallic Materials Manufacturing (NMMM), and Non Metallic Materials Testing (NMMT) joint Task Group meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m., 21-Oct-2013.

It was verified that only SUBSCRIBER MEMBERS were in attendance during the closed portion of the meeting – 16 Subscriber members in attendance.

1.3 RAIL Review – OPEN

The Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) was reviewed.

For specific details, please see the current COMP, NMMM, or NMMT Rolling Action Item List posted at www.eAuditNet.com, under Public Documents.

1.4 Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes– OPEN

The minutes from June 2013 were approved as written.

1.5 Review of membership Lists – OPEN

Following a review of the membership status it was agreed that Pierangelo Campagna – EXOVA is to be removed from the membership list. For the remainder of the voting members listed in the above presentation the Task Group (TG) agreed they are to maintain their membership status for the COMP, NMMT and NMMM TGs.

2.0 SE DELEGATION – CLOSED

The status of PRI Staff/Consultant Reviewer delegation was reviewed as acceptable by the TG.

3.0 AUDITOR PERFORMANCE DATA REVIEW / OBSERVATION AUDIT FEEDBACK FORMS – CLOSED

Two auditor observation forms were reviewed and determined to be acceptable.

4.0 OBSERVATION AUDIT SUB-TEAM UPDATE – CLOSED

TG discussion ensued on the subject of how auditors are identified /selected for observation.

ACTION ITEM: Observation audit sub team to review the procedure for the selection of audits for TG members to observe. How does this compare to new NOP-012 requirements? (Due Date: 31-Dec-2013)

5.0 IPT #4 RESULTS – CLOSED

Mike Bemis presented the 2013 Nadcap IPT results. Presentation is available in eAuditNet.

A recommendation was made to the TG to include Lap Shear and Tensile tests for every IPT.

ACTION ITEM: Mike Bemis and Andreas Mastorakis to review IPT data from all IPTs completed to determine if any trends exist. (Due Date: 28-Feb-2014)

ACTION ITEM: Planning for 2015 IPT to be added to agenda for London meeting. (Due Date: 15-Nov-2013)

6.0 AUDITS FOR TG DISCUSSION – CLOSED

Refer to audit number 153150 – TG members requested to continue with vote.

Motion made to request a VCA audit for audit 153150 to confirm implementation of corrective actions. Motion Passed

ACTION ITEM: PRI Staff to set up a VCA audit for audit 153150. (Due Date: 25-Oct-2013)

Refer to audit number 154117 – After discussion, SE to investigate further and request additional data to determine severity of finding for the honeycomb detail NCR.

ACTION ITEM: John Tibma to investigate audit 154117 further and request additional data to determine severity of finding for the honeycomb detail NCR. (Due Date: 25-Oct-2013)

7.0 OPEN DISCUSSION – CLOSED

Succession planning – The requirement is that for October 2014 meeting a new vice chair will be required. Volunteers from the TG to contact current chair.

Auditor training / mentoring – How can this be implemented / improved? Further discussion may be required. John Key to raise the topic of additional training audits at Planning & Ops (P&O) meeting. P&O response was that additional training audits must be handled on a case by case basis.

ACTION ITEM: PRI to arrange for additional eAuditNet training for applicable auditor before his first solo audit. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2013)

ACTION ITEM: PRI to send auditor advisory to ensure Subscribers are listed on form or in eAuditNet. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2013)

8.0 MEETING CLOSE-OUT – CLOSED

Action Items reviewed. Agenda Topics for the February 2014 meeting in London were discussed. It was decided how many days to meet in February 2014 for AC7118.

Several requests have been received for new membership.

Motion to approve Tom Brooks and Jeff Rybolt from Applied Composites as Supplier Voting Member and Alternate Supplier Voting Member respectively. Motion Passed.

9.0 STAFF REPORT – OPEN

John Tibma presented the staff report. See presentation below.

9.1 Recent Activities– OPEN

Boeing has now mandated NMMM to raw material manufacturers.

ACTION ITEM: PRI staff to update slide 4. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2013)

9.2 NCR Pareto Chart– OPEN

ACTION ITEM: Sub team formed to review pareto chart data before each meeting and to produce a summary slide(s) with precise data to present to TG. Sub Team John Key, Laura Benedetti, Keith Panuska, Lance Loeks, Mike Bemis, John Tibma. (Due Date: 31-Dec-2013)

Vitorio Stana presented the proposed survey to determine if suppliers are satisfied with the questionnaire. Currently only four replies have been received.

ACTION ITEM: PRI Staff to post the survey in the meeting minutes for suppliers to complete and return. (Due Date: 08-Nov-2013)

14.0 STATUS OF DRAFT AMS 2750/1 – OPEN

There was discussion by the TG on how to create the appropriate document for pyrometry in composites.

Ian Jenner of AIC presented ‘’Problem with Thermocouples’’ and supplier requirements for AS 2750/1. Presentation included costs involved. See below presentation.

ACTION ITEM: Sub team to continue to identify draft set of requirements for pyrometry in composites but exclude qualification requirements. Report out for the London meeting. (Due Date: 07-Feb-2014 )

15.0 OPEN DISCUSSION – OPEN

Auditor conference discussion items were reported to the TG. Included in the presentation above.

ACTION ITEM: PRI Staff to send out auditor advisory for the AQS feedback on Certificate of Conformance requirements when involving electronic signatures, and to notify Subscribers. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2013)
