Open Entry Course Advisor Approval Form (Undergraduate Level)

Full-Time UNB Students for Fall/Winter Terms only

UNB students paying full time tuition are required to have written approval by their Academic Advisor to register in a UNB Open Entry course during the fall/winter terms*. During fall/winter terms, students approved to register in an Open Entry UNB Online course will pay a non-refundable supplemental online fee of $100 per course, which is not covered by full time tuition.

Steps for Approval: 1. Complete your application to register for a UNB Online Open Entry Course2. Complete this form and obtain approval from your faculty/department Advisor3. Return the signed form to the College of Extended Learning in person, by email or fax(2nd floor Wu Conference Centre, extend@unb.ca, fax: 453-3572)4. Contact the College of Extended Learning to pay your fees and finalize your registration

Please note: Registering for 6 credit hour courses onlineFull-time students registering in a 6ch UNB Online Open Entry course in the fall or winter semester may be subjected to additional tuition fees due to academic status in the following term. If registering in the winter semester a deposit of 1/2 the tuition of the course will be required to cover fees in the following semester. If the course is completed before the end of April, the deposit will be refunded to your student account.
