Speakers’ Bureau[$39K] Promote public awareness of LD in schools

and workplace Volunteer driven Target audience – community groups,

business, schools and associations Web based tutorials Currently seeking funding for this project

Standardizing our Resources[$200K] Assistive technology products are

important tools – when used properly, these programs often enable individuals with LD/ADHD to function more productively

Equip regional centres with the hardware, software and the necessary training to provide instruction to educators, parents & children [grades 4 thru 12]

Seeking funding through a Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant

WBTT[$6M] Partnership with the MoED resulting from

the Promoting Early Intervention Initiative JK to Grade 2 – broad spectrum support Training and support in English and French 63% of school boards currently using [43

boards] – numbers are growing monthly 4000 teachers and administrators Expanding to grade 3 in 2006 Currently funded [3-years] through MoED

LDAO OnLine Presence www.ldao.ca – main platform 11,000 visits/month [132K hits annually] Launched the redesigned Access site
