What it is?
• Meetup based on web/mobile development technologies, techniquesand tools• Source to find technical infos for your startup, daily work or passion• Inspiration from web/mobile projects• Ask questions, learn from others and teach others from your presentation• Analyze and discuss together technologies, frameworks, techniques and tools worth to be presented
Why?
• Stay updated with news from latest technologies• Learn from others and teach others• No web/mobile focused-meetups so far in Cluj-Napoca• Stay connected with the people that share your passion• Connect with startup entrepreneurs to tech community• Create a complete who’s who guide
Agenda
• Each 2 weeks• Everyone is encouraged to make a presentation about his domain• We will schedule and plan few presentations upfront• Clear understanding about the pro/cons about that technology/technique• 2 presentations each time (but that’s not a rule)
Presentations
Let’s try to have the same format• An objective point of view• Much easier to follow
Format that I propose:1. General Description2. Usage: common scenarios3. Architecture: Big Picture4. Architecture: Drill-down5. Comparison with main competitors (where it performs
better, worse, different, etc.)6. Real-life problem and solution using the selected technology7. Conclusions8. Discussions, Q&A, etc.

Planning
We will plan most of the presentations upfront prior to 2,3 weeks
For that, we need volunteers to create such presentations about their domain of expertise or about the technologies that he worked on.

Problem:
• We are very bad at repetitive tasks - That is normal!
• Why not let technology manage those boring tasks for us
• If you need something done more than twice, do a program which does it
for you!
Have you ever needed to…
• Send your girlfriend / boyfriend a message when you leave the house or
office
• Put your phone on „silent‟ whenever entering the church or movie theatre
• Turn on your Wi-Fi every time you enter your house (“home is where your
Wi-Fi is!)
• These are only some tasks that SpotTune is able to do right away!

Solution:Through the one thing we almost always have with us: our
cellphone and through the “thing“ that we mostly interact with :

What it does
• SpotTune automates tasks for you which trigger when
certain events happen
• The user can select both the tasks and the triggers in
an intuitive and simple way

• Enter events from web platform – www.spot-tune.com
• Synchronize tasks and settings throughout your devices (phone, tablets, web)
• Online storing of tasks
• Suggestions on different places (ex. If everyone has phone on silent on some
location, you can receive a suggestion ”Hei, you should have your phone on silent
here” etc.)
• Assign tasks to your friends (Eg: If you arrive at shop, send a message to your
friend John :”Hei do you need something from the shop?”
• Add tasks to someone else (request-accept)
I do believe that core idea of SpotTune can be applied to so many other tasks that
can automatized. We are already able to connect different devices and activities – so
called “Internet of things”. Why not automatize most of them?
E.g – turn home heating on when you approaching home
On the official website www.spot-tune.com there will be a public area where normal
users can vote for features and suggest features that will make their life better.
They just have to let their imagination fly – SpotTune and technology will manage the
rest.
