A Girl went on a diet, she began to restrict her eating cutting out fats, carbs As she began to lose weight she started to feel that life was worth living. All because of the stress, worries on getting accepted into university. She thought that if she didn't stop to eat and work work work, her chances would be higher to get in. At the end she ended up in bed for 5 weeks... She only realized she need help after her hair fell out, her skin cracked (dry),she could see the details of her bones... Bulimia is an illness in which a person binges on food or has regular episodes of overeating and feels a loss of control. The affected person then uses various methods such as:

- Vomiting -Laxative abuse

What’s Bulimia Nervosa?

To prevent weight gain!!!

-Many more women than men have bulimia. -The disorder is most common in teenagegirls and young women. -The affected person is usually aware that her eating pattern is abnormal and may feel scare or blame with the binge-purge episodes.

Symptoms3

- People with bulimia often eat large amounts of high-calorie foods, usually in secret. People can feel a absence of control over their eating during these episodes.-Forcing oneself to vomit

-Excessive exercise

-Use of laxatives, enemas, or diuretics (water pills)

-People with bulimia are often at a normal weight, but they may see themselves as being overweight.

Signs 4-Broken blood vessels in the eyes (from the strain of vomiting)

-Dry mouth

-Pouch-like look to the corners of the mouth due to swollen salivary glands

-Small cuts and calluses across the tops of the finger joints from forcing oneself to vomit
