PROHIBITIONS It Is prohibited to possess or operate a motor vehicleon National Forest System lands on the Bessey RangerDistrict other than in accordance with these designations(36 CFR 261.13). Viola tors of 36 CFR 261.13 a re subject to a fine of up to$5,000, im prisonm ent for up to 6 m onths or both (18 U.S .C.3571(e)). T his prohibition a pplies rega rdless of the presenceor a bsence of signs. T his m a p does not displa y nonm otorized uses, over-snowuses, or other fa cilities a nd a ttra ctions on the Bessey R a ngerDistrict. Obta in forest visitor inform a tion from the loca lna tiona l forest office. Designa ted roa ds, tra ils, a nd a rea s m a y a lso be subject totem pora ry, em ergency closures. As a visitor, you m ustcom ply with signs notifying you of such restrictions.
