Introduction To MMT

MMT is a UK based solutions provider, delivering business andsystems solutions to an international client base across diversemarkets including retail, financial services, utilities andgovernment, entertainment, leisure and healthcare sectors.

The company employs over 400 staff in offices across the UK.Founded in 1978, MMT is listed on the London Stock Exchangeas MMT Computing plc.

MMT have considerable experience in developing on-lineservices of the kind envisaged by Oftel. We have developedsystems for:

l AIG (UK) Ltd - multinational insurance company.

l IPC Media - publisher and media provider.

l Public Health Laboratory Service - UK government body.

l NCH Action For Children - UK children’s charity.

l Mitsui Bussan - international metals futures trader.

We are Microsoft and Oracle partners and specialise particularlyin the development of database driven internet / extranet /intranet systems using the latest .NET technologies.

MMT’s Approach To The ONUS Project

Analysis and requirements definition phase already underwayand due to complete this month.

Technical design phase will start before the end of June,producing detailed system specifications, including screendesigns and a system prototype.

System build will continue throughout the summer, leading to ahand-over to Oftel for acceptance testing in early October 2003.

Following acceptance testing, implementation and parallelrunning will commence in mid-November 2003.

• to apply for numbers Communication Providers (CPs) must be Registered

• all registration will be logged on ONUS• replace existing Annex to Application

• having Registered, CPs will receive automatic acknowledgement from ONUS

• registration generates a Case• once Case processed, Oftel will issue a temporary

password by e-mail• on 1st log-in Registrant will have to create own

unique password (no need for use of E-Signatures)
